Pros: Cheap
Cons: I ordered 3 of these and they all sound like a ticking clock. It is only a matter of time before they fail. I have been working with used a new hard drives for a long time and even though these drives would probably pass the diagnostics test they will get worse in time and who want to listen to there hard drive chattering every time it is reading or writing data.
Overall Review: Better of paying a few more dollars for a new one.
Pros: Cheap and WD brand power.
Cons: It is recertified. It means that it had problem before.
I bought five disks and one is Dead on arrival. Second one has noisy problem. The other three disks are unboxed yet.
Overall Review: I own a computer repair shop in LA. My comments could help other users. I just want to share my experience with Newegg.com.

Pros: Never had problems with WD before.
Cons: Purchased REC. First one worked great for 3 weeks then HDD stopped working.
2nd one came in dead on arrival. Now over 1 month old and I have to go to WD for replacement and that will be 6 weeks.
Shipping will be more than I paid.
Overall Review: If you have many weeks of free time or need practice installing your operating system this may be the HDD for you.
