Pros: It’s a 12.5mm drive, so it won’t fit most laptops. However, I used it for an external drive, so it fit into the enclosure I bought, just fine. This makes for a great cheap 1tb external drive. It works, it’s small, that’s all I need
Cons: No cons for me. But for most people, this drive is too big for their laptops.
Pros: If the drive’s actually worked I might have some
Cons: Dead on Arrivial – Newegg replaced twice and both DOA – not done with process, hope Newegg can send one that actually works.
Pros: Large size for such a small format.
Cons: Drive came DOA. The docking station worked though. At least Newegg was very fast to RMA it and ship out a replacement. They even gave me free return shipping through UPS.
Pros: 1 TB at a affordable price.
Cons: non so far.
Pros: Enough storage space, fast, quiet, no issue so far
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: Some people say that the disk arrived defective or the PC didn’t recognized it. First step to do, after installing the drive, is to go into the Computer Management – Disk management and partition and format the drive. Only after that you will see it as an available drive.
Pros: The price was right at the time. Would have been a deal if it hadn’t acted up.
Cons: Installed in a USB drive for transfers and temp files. Very few hours on the drive and now it locks up and stalls. Causes to computer to freeze for several minutes (4 to 8 minutes) before it works again for a short while. Keeps the computer from booting if turned on and connected to the computer.
Overall Review: Waste of money this time around.
Pros: inexpensive
Cons: 1 of 3 purchased failed in 6 months

Pros: None. Didn’t work. Cannot format the drive.
Cons: DOA. The overview page says this drive has a 2 year warranty. It doesn’t. Check the detailed page. I verified by WD and WD shows the drive has a 4 month warranty.
