Pros: Was the perfect length to reach all the way to my bottom drive.
Angle was perfect because a straight cable wouldn’t work
Cons: None
Overall Review: I used this to connect my Samsung SSD when I had to move it to my bottom hard drive bay after a case mod. Everything works fine and looks good!
Pros: -One straight end, one angled end
-Has a locking mechanism to keep it in place
-Supports fast transfers
-Did my laundry for me
Cons: -It shrunk my socks.
Pros: Left angle cables, solid build, have had for a few months and work wonderfully
Cons: N/A
Overall Review: Note that these are LEFT angle cables; normally SATA cables have a right angle.
I actually cannot use standard or right angle cables because my mainboard was designed by an idiot. All 4 SATA ports are covered by even a short length graphics card, and the right angles cover the opposite ports. So I have to use left angles in order to clear both the graphics card and the opposite SATA ports
Pros: All the bits that get pushed into one end seem to come out of the other end.
Cons: The bits don’t come out until after you have pushed them in, not before.
Overall Review: The connector is not backwards, it is a so-called “left” angle connector as per the description, and that is what you get. I actually prefer these as you can plug the cable into the drive then route the cable up, then over the top of the drive and the cable is now completely out of the way of everything else.
Pros: Their black, 6Gb/s, and the angled end is very small, fitting almost plug in cramped space.
Cons: When i bought them i thought the angled end would face downwards. An issue on my end for not paying attention.
Overall Review: They still work just as good on hard drives. The angled end just faces upward instead of downward.
Pros: – Connects my new SSD to my mobo
– Easy to install
– It’s black
Cons: – Could be blacker
Pros: Works on the oldest SATA hard drive I have (a 260GB) as well as the newest 5TB hard drive that I have. Clips are strong and hold things in place. Absolutely no problems with data transfers or writing at larger speeds.
Cons: Average length cable. If you have a very large tower (say anything above 25″ tall) this might not work for you.
Overall Review: Note: While I put in the pros that the clips are strong, it could also be a con. I had to flip the cables once due to the casing & motherboard combo not liking the corner pieces (still used just had to have corner going into hard drive and straight going to motherboard). When I tried to remove the cables I was afraid that I would damage the connections due to how much effort was needed to remove them.
