Pros: Cheap. Does what its supposed to do.

Overall Review: Stuffed 4 of these in my 27″ iMac to max it out at 16G and all is well. Now my Win 7 VM has as much ram as my entire machine used to prior to the upgrade. Have only just installed the ram though, so if something changes I’ll update my review

Pros: Recongnized as 1333Mhz, quick delivery

Cons: Incompatible with Aspire 5750. Module construction different than pictured.

Overall Review: Not compatible with Acer Aspire 5750-9668 (Sandy Bridge i7), crashes immediately following POST. This is unfortunate as I have never had any problem with Crucial memory before.

I noticed the RAM module construction was different for the ones I received than what Newegg has pictured. What I received was the Chinese DX111VJ.FP instead of the American BG1129V.SH pictured. The main difference being the Chinese one has 16 chips where the American one has 8 chips. I’m unsure if that is reason for the incompatibility with the Aspire 5750, but is a possibility.

Pros: Worked in my Hannspree SN12E2 Hannsbook netbook…. but there’s a catch.

Cons: Slightly slower (0.2 pts) in the Windows experience index score compared to the stock 2GB memory module that it replaced.

Overall Review: Be careful about ordering memory for the Hannspree SN12E2 netbook. The earlier versions took DDR2 memory and later ones use DDR3. They’re all called SN12E2, so the only way to be sure of the right memory is to open the back and see which module is in there. If you search around the net, it’s apparent there’s a lot of confusion out there about this fact.

Pros: Price plus free shipping is the main reason that I purchased this memory. Crucial is a reputable brand which also helped me decide.

Cons: Almost the day after I bought the memory NewEgg reduced the price by $3.00. It’s always my luck.

Overall Review: Installed the memory along with the original stick that came in the laptop. Ran Memtest 86 and all of the memory tested just fine. I was prepared to buy a second stick if the Crucial stick wasn’t compatible with the original memory stick, but that won’t be necessary now. I am very pleased with the memory. The only complaint that I have is with the shipping. From the time that NewEgg shipped the memory until it reached me a total of 6 days passed. I noticed that it sat in the North Houston post office for 4 of those 6 days.

Cons: My ThinkPad detected the RAM, but it caused all sorts of instability. I couldn’t even load any of several live CD’s in order to test it.

Overall Review: I got mine directly from Crucial, so I can get a refund and buy some different RAM here on newegg.

Pros: I have always used Crucial memory with my Thinkpads. Never had a single problem.

Cons: None so far.

Pros: Price… DDR3… It works…. Nothing more to say.

Pros: Works very well, fast, installed with no troubles at all.

Cons: Took a while to ship.
