Pros: For refurbished, came extremely clean of dust (looks almost new – some minor cosmetic stretches on the case) Fast CPU, RAM. A client of mine and myself each bought one. Using it with Windows 10 Pro, IIS/.NET and Windows 2016 SQL Server for local intranet .NET application and file server. We both put in a 512GB SSD for the OS drive and 2 internal 6TB spinners. The fans are quiet on both units. Includes fans for the RAM. Also on mine, I have PLEX Server running for media streaming in addition to file server, IIS/.NET applications tied to MS SQL 2016.
Cons: No cons really, the included internal drive on one of the machines is going out (grinding) about 5 weeks later; so replaced that. We didn’t put any OS or other programs on it (was only using it for a mirror image of the 512GB SSD. But not docking for eggs on it as who knows how that drive was used before being refurbished.
Overall Review: We also had custom made “DEMCiflex ” dust filters (one) for each PC to put on the front of the workstation. Amazing as to how much dust that captures before going into the case.
Pros: When working the HPz420 workstation is awesome. I previously had one where I worked and it was a work horse for heavy graphics, engineering programs, etc.
Cons: My Z420 gave me 5 months of use and then died. I had used it to write a few resumes and check emails. This computer was not used as a gamer or to run any other resource taxing programs.
Overall Review: Do not buy this. Save some money and buy new, it will pay off later.
Overall Review: Easy to unpack and set up, exactly as described. Great deal and in great condition for a low-low price.
Overall Review: Good machine – excellent value including windows 10, 1T HD and 32Gig memory!
Pros: – arrived on time
– performs as advertised
– was obviously refurbished, but only cosmetic blemishes
Cons: – none really, other than being heavy!
Overall Review: – I can fully recommend purchasing refurbished HP workstations at Newegg – this is my second refurbished workstation, and they are both great performers and great values

Pros: -Fast with a six-core processor.
-Excellent cable management system and quick-release drive bays.
Cons: -Boot was not properly configured, so it hung waiting for an input or USB connection.
-Limited on-board audio options
Overall Review: -As a refurb, great power for about half the cost of a new build.
-Very heavy, but it’s not a laptop or portable, so it shouldn’t be a huge issue.
