Pros: This thing can compete with a lot of modern hardware at probably half the price, and has room for upgrades (CPU, memory, and plenty of room for storage). It’s perfect for my work and only came out of warranty last year. For a big workstation, it is surprisingly silent. Linux installed without a hitch and `make -j20` compiles Emacs in 4 minutes flat. For a coder, it’s perfect especially when you can use all the cores.
Cons: – You somehow pay for a Win10 license.
– I wish they’d offer an entry level 4k GPU option, because the NVS310 is in storage, replaced by a cheap GTX1030 which is what I need for my 4k screen and plenty for “workstation” (coding) activities.
Overall Review: Machine got shipped really quickly, looked like you’d expect from a refurbished machine: some scratches but spotlessly clean everywhere. I’m happy.
