Pros: It’s in great shape – doesn’t look brand new – has some signs of wear, but nothing significant (as stated in the description.) Performance so far has been excellent.
Cons: The only downsides I have encountered are:
1) There are only 2 USB ports in the front, which I know is stated in the description. I just wish there were more in the front, rather than the large majority in the back. That’s limiting w/ all of our family’s devices. Just something to consider.
2) There is NO SD slot. I know that’s my fault for not noticing it in the description, but I didn’t think any computers were made w/o SD slots these days.
Overall Review: Overall, it’s a great computer for the price. I am happy with it and would probably purchase it again.
Pros: Liked the price seems to run OK I am slowly getting all my programs ect moved to it, but that will take a lot of time…..
Cons: Only con is that it came with 4 gb of memory not 8 like it should have…..
If Newegg gave me a good deal on 2 four gb memory sticks that would work on this unit I would do it….
Just to make things easier…………….
Pros: I am a gamer/power user and this does the job on all fronts. No, it doesn’t have some massive sized video card, but it does play the games I want to play. So far I have had no trouble with WoW, Skyrim, Minecraft and many others. It handles video and other tasks like a boss. Sound is excellent.
The keyboard included with it is quiet, compared to the one I had. The machine itself is very quiet compared to my old one. I really can’t complain about this one at all. Honestly, I would never have known this is a refurbished machine. It runs like new. I am very pleased with this purchase.
Cons: One thing I did note is the lack of any documentation. That’s a very minor quibble though. It would have been nice. That and the product key doesn’t work for Windows 10. It worked fine for 7 – which is on the machine, but I couldn’t update it. Again, very minor complaint there.

Pros: Inexpensive and it is working now.
Cons: The CPU heatsink was not even secured. Shortly after the first boot up the thing shut down on itself. Tried to power it back on, but it shut down again. Finally opened it and tightened down the CPU heat sink which solved the problem.
Overall Review: It’s cheap, but the QA on these systems leaves something to be desired.
Pros: Arrived in 3 days, Was well packaged in a professional box with styrofoam inserts. The outside looked factory new. Upon inspection, the interior looked as good as the outside. It had a new 1 TB 7200 rpm drive and 8 gb memory installed. This Dell is built like a tank. I would not trade it for a new big box store computer with the same specs. No way! Performs flawlessly with Win 7 Pro. If your not a gamer this computer will do anything you ask it to. Get yourself one while these long lasting office refurbs are still around. Mine was built in Nov 2011.
Cons: The only minor con I have is the fact that it did not come with a windows CD and there is no recovery partition on the hard drive. If windows becomes corrupted, I will have to buy a new Win 7 CD

Windows 7 pro and the upgrade to Windows 10 if needed

Overall Review: This is a great upgraded unit for the money. it has been gone thru and completely updated and received in very good order. Easy to set up and get online working.
Great for people who do not have the money for the most modern computer tower but is great for the average person

Pros: -Good deal for the price.
-Was shipped super fast.
Cons: -DVD drive was not secured and the screw for it was loose within the case.
-Hard drive was a 2010 Hitachi Deskstar… I wasn’t expecting anything new but 2010? That’s bad IMO, even by refurb standards.
-Came with 2x4GB sticks of RAM, one of which was defective. After getting a ton of random Windows errors, I ran some diagnostic apps and it was clear as day.
Overall Review: Some things are too good to be true. Getting a replacement sent through Newegg’s RMA process, hoping the next one does better.
