Pros: Unit arrived immaculately clean inside and out, no dents or scratches, looks new and everything seems to work–kudos to the refurbisher. An old Nvidia 630 card brought the Win Experience Index from 4.5 to 5.9 . Buyers should note it has only it has only a single VGA port so plan on a vid card if wanting to run a DVI or dual monitors.
Cons: Nothing unexpected. Power supply is only 350 watts, no surprise but it does limit choice of vid cards. No Windows install disk, also no surprise; my habit is to clone the drive for both backup and to have a spare drive to swap in case of a drive failure.
Overall Review: Kind of a low end machine but I give it 5 eggs for arriving clean, in working condition and as advertised.
Pros: I’ve worked with the Dell 780 at a previous job, so I knew the system before I got it. The system arrived fast, Windows 7 Pro was loaded just as if the system was new. The outside was clean, though the sides were covered in a large vinyl decal with the Dell logo cut out in it. No dent, no major scuffs, and the inside was spotless. It’s been running well for a month now with no issues.
Cons: The only con I can think of is that it didn’t come with the secondary hard drive “cage”. Dell uses these plastic cages around the drive so they’ll slide in and out of the slot easily. Unfortunately, if you don’t have that cage, the drive won’t fit in that location. But, you could still mount one under the CD drive, so it’s not a total loss.
Overall Review: I’ve bought refurbished before from New Egg and rarely been disappointed. After the system arrived I wished I had use for another one. It was so clean, worked well, and with a 12 month warranty, how could I go wrong?
Pros: Using this for a home entertainment pc. Has enough horsepower to take care of business. Shipping was fast. Can’t beat the price. Also included a OS DVD disc as well as the ability to burn a copy from the saved image on the PC. Will definitely be a repeat customer.
Cons: Didn’t come as shown in the image. No card reader. Otherwise all is good.
Overall Review: Definitely recommend them. Great prices and fast shipping. Item was boxed properly and in great shape for a refurb.
Pros: Excellent performance & reliability
Cons: -Slightly shabby case (not surprising for a used PC)
-Needs an OEM PCI card (hard to find) to be able to use PS/2 keyboards
-Needs an OEM hard drive caddy to add a second HD
-The OEM DVD drive is a player, not a recorder, and will need replacement for anyone who wants to record DVDs
Overall Review: Great PC at a great price but most buyers will have to do a little searching to find the parts mentioned above.
Pros: It does it jobs
Cons: My escape button doesnt work.
Pros: No pros
Cons: Shipped me broken machine

Pros: The computer came in exactly as the specs listed here. It is refurbished with Windows 7 Pro pre-installed, you won’t get the disc. Just turn it and it will set itself up, doesn’t get any easier. It arrived in good condition with some slight scratches on top of the case but the computer is very clean and dust free inside out. The OS is fairly clean with only a cheap anti-virus and Corel Word Perfect Suite installed. I uninstalled both of them. I rigorously checked the computer out for any problems and cannot find any. Everything is functional and error free. It runs quiet and it runs very well for a 5 year old computer. I put in an old DVI graphics card and a new TPLink PCI wireless card and it took both of them without any issues. It’s a good computer for general computing tasks. If you are using this for general office work and surfing the internet, it is perfectly fine. I suspect it’ll work well for a lot of people who just need a computer to get by. At about $120, it is ridiculously cheap for all that you get.
Cons: No native DVI connection.
No native wireless connection.
