– Nice, low profile design
Overall Review: Have used Liebert/Vertiv products at work and very happy with their products, they have been around the IT industry for a long time! Glad to see they are expanding into these smaller units. Like the fact that the ports are reinforced with screws. Hard to find a unit this size that has coax and ethernet surge protection as well as a 2 amp USB charging port. Also connected to my PC so firmware issues mentioned in other reviews are fixed! I like that the door to the battery compartment is secured with a small screw, so should alleviate any accidental openings, but still easy to access. The LCD screen is great and gives you volts in, volts out, amps, and the most useful info is a bar graph on how much is plugged in(load %) so you know when getting close to capacity. Highly recommend.

Pros: The battery backup functionality did work.
Cons: Bought two units, both had faulty USB management ports. Tried on AMD and Intel based systems. Windows and Linux. USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports. Multiple USB cables. No combination would detect either UPS with the built in OS utilities or Liebert’s software. That kind of defeats the entire purpose of a smart UPS since without management/monitoring you can’t have the system automatically shut down in the event of a power failure.
Overall Review: Would absolutely not recommend or purchase again. One failure I could see as a fluke, but two tells me their quality control is not up to par. When it comes to safeguarding your data against power loss it’s just not worth the risk to gamble on this product.
