Easy-to-read digital display reports important UPS and power information in real time.Four 5-15R outlets provide both battery backup and surge protection for your computer, monitor and other crucial components. The other four 5-15R outlets are surge-protected only for printers, scanners and other non-essential equipment. Plus, USB charging ports keep mobile devices fully powered for immediate use.AVR protects your equipment from incremental hardware damage, data loss and performance problems caused by brownouts. The ECO1000LCD can correct brownouts as low as 86V back to nominal 120V power without drawing on the battery backup needed to support your equipment during a blackout.By meeting strict EPA efficiency guidelines, this ENERGY STAR-certified UPS system helps you save money

Pros: It performs as rated, though rating is low. Price is right
Cons: Cryptic interface, only one button and the same light is used for overload condition & battery capacity. Low battery rating
Overall Review: It worked fine for 3 weeks. Seemingly randomly, it killed power, and the overload light came on with intermittent beeping. Thought I had fried something…After research, I found out that this was likely due to a self-test that determined that the battery was underrated for my system.
Bad on me for going cheap on the UPS with an admittedly power hungry build, but I only wanted something to give me 15 seconds to hit save in a power outage (vice the ~3 minutes rated). Instead, the system determines it’s not right for the job just keeps beeping. Also, causing a shutdown when it figures this out, poor self test design.
Pros: This is by far one of the best Backup Power Systems I have purchased. Love the ECO option. It turns off power to peripherals attached when I shut down my PC. A Great energy saver idea.
Cons: None.
Pros: Very reliable (had a chance to check it), had more than 5 minutes of battery with PhenomX4 5GbRAM HDD2Tb ATI3870
ECO function is SUPER, I dont have to shut down speakers, printer, lamp… UPS does it
Cons: Eventually you wont be able to replace the battery… Even my low power APC has a replaceable battery. Very bad for such a good UPS = -1egg
Overall Review: Works perfect, you wont find anything as good for the price like that(including free shipping), defenetly recomend.
I hope battery will work long enough…
Pros: Came across this little UPS / power strip hybrid and it seemed very convenient in multiple ways, first it’s not much bigger than a regular power strip, second it has a battery backup that can hold small appliances on for a few minutes in case of power outages, and third it has eco features to turn off specific plugs and prevent ghost currents from racking up the power bill. I figured this was the perfect device to plug my media center, TV and blu-ray player to.
Cons: Unfortunately it was too good to be true… After a few unsuccessful tries I turned to the manual to try and figure out what I was doing wrong, and it turns out that in small letters it says that by design the ECO slots are not battery backed up. So I can use the battery backed up slots to protect my devices from power outages, or I can use the ECO slots to eliminate ghost current… but not both! The ECO slots are not battery backed up, therefore in case of power failure any devices connected to the ECO slots will lose power.
Overall Review: It would be a great device if it could provide both features simultaneously, but unfortunately it can’t. I am disappointed with it, and will return it, but I will keep looking for an alternative that fits my needs.
Pros: It worked.
Cons: Taking a cue from Apple, Tripp Lite decided to go with a Non-replaceable battery.
Overall Review: By using a non-replaceable battery in this device, Tripp Lite has lost my business.
Pros: Worked well for about 1 month
Cons: After one month, it constantly shuts itself off. The software reports the battery is over heating. It only has 1 pc and a monitor plugged into it. As an experiment I reset it and didn’t plug anything into it. Within a day it shut itself off saying the battery is over heating. There is always a strong smell of burning plastic. This thing is only a few months old! I’ll never buy a Tripp-Lite product again unless I plan on collecting from fire insurance!!
Overall Review: Should have spent a few extra dollars for an APS!
Pros: Plenty of outlets compared to most units at this price point
Cons: The master/slave setup is not configurable. I didn’t expect it to be but this would be a nice addition.
Overall Review: The warning light indicating a miswired outlet always flashes even though I have verified that everything is fine on multiple outlets it has been tried on.

Pros: Can provide power from built-in battery even after being shut-down. (Once powered off, most standby UPS units stay off until utility power is restored)
Cons: Limited run-time but that’s what the specs call for.
Overall Review: I bought this some time ago to power a cable TV box during hiccups in the utility power supply – those things take forever to reboot.
Since then I’ve also hooked up an LED illuminated flat panel TV so the family can enjoy uninterrupted service when I have to get the generator running – think Hurricane Sandy.
Provided one accepts quite limited run time – maybe 10 mins or so for my set up – this is an inexpensive and unobtrusive solution to poor power quality in rural areas. It’s not perfect but it does do what the manufacturer claims.
