Pros: I have two of these in a raid-0 config.
Yes they are lightning FAST.
Cons: I dont think they are loud at all, I cant even here them.
And my PC is on a desk, 3 feet away from me ..humm

Pros: Great speed Great hard drive I love the Raptor the perform really nice. bought it as a laptop replacement for Toshiba laptop, it is thinker then 7200rpm and will not fit. DO not buy it for your laptop.
Cons: None
Ownership: less than 1 day
Pros: VelociRaptor is the leading desktop/enterprise class drive; amazing performance before you get into SSD.
Cons: Cost? It’s still worth it.
Overall Review: WARNING – NewEgg’s picture is wrong on this item; it is actually a 2.5 inch bare drive, without the IcePak heatsink.

Pros: Very Fast Drives! Purchased 3 and setup in RAID5 and they work flawlessly!
Cons: I don’t know why, but they are really noisy drives. I hope that’s just the way they are and I didn’t end up with a bad batch.
Overall Review: Great drive for any application where you won’t be sitting right next to where the drive is. FYI: You only receive the BARE 2.5″ drive.
