Pros: Silent and cool.
Cons: It was a bit pricey for 40GB.
Overall Review: Great little drive that runs cools and quiet. It’s fast for the spindle speed. However, I wish manufacturers make more 40GB drives. That would lower their cost. After all, not all of us are running servers on our laptops. 🙂
Pros: We use them for Canon copiers of the Image Runner series, they work great
Cons: they last for years in computers but only 2 or 3 in copiers because of how they are mounted
Overall Review: great price, canon want over three hundred for one of these drives
Pros: Fit perfectly in my 4+ year old Dell Inspiron 8500. Quiet and fast (compared to what was in the computer).
Cons: None other then it being 40 GB, but I don’t need more space than that for my laptop.
Overall Review: The computer came with a 60 GB 4,300 RPM hdd which fried. I bought this as a replacement and while its noticeably faster at 5,400 RPMs I noticed that battery life suffers. For me this doesn’t matter since my laptop is plugged in 99% of the time.
Pros: Fast, quiet, reliable, well packaged.
Cons: None that I’ve noticed.
Overall Review: It was a breeze to install in my Dell Inspiron 8600. Highly recommend to anyone that wants to upgrade there hard drive. Anyone that knows how to use a small screwdriver and that can format a hard drive can do this in no time.
Pros: We use these drives in our service business, and find that the price is excellent. I can depend on my order being filled correctly. Thanx Newegg!

Overall Review: I have owned one other drive that seemed to run cooler than this, but this isn’t too bad. Toshiba drives seem to last and last. A very good value
