Pros: Got this for a second drive to run Windows 7. Works great in Dell D620
Cons: None
Overall Review: Its not 500gb but I really don’t need more in a laptop
Pros: Worked great out of the box
Cons: None
Overall Review: Recommend
Pros: Very fast and quiet. Running on a Vista Premium Compaq NC6400.
Cons: None. Warranty could be longer. Purchased with American Express so my warranty is automatically extended as a courtesy throught Amex.
Overall Review: My high expectations were…surpassed with this drive. I had anticapted an improvement but was caught off guard and how much better. With the hard drive being the slowest component of a computer, the fast it is the better performance you will have. This drive does an excellent job of delivering impressive results. Not sure how much it matters, but I ran the windows performance index. The result was a 5.8. I believe the highest score possible is 5.9 or 6.0.
Pros: Tossed out an old aging Seagate 3.5″ 80GB 7200.7 for a family built Shuttle XPC ST20G5 for this HD. Decent on par desktop speed for a laptop class HD. Quieter then the old HD, less heat build up and weight. Reloaded my own custom slipstreamed XP SP3 and found no issues with this HD. Loving technology and cost at a miniature size.
Cons: Wishing for more cache.
Overall Review: Simple 2.5″ to 3.5″ conversion kit. If I had bought two drives, I could have done a RAID1 as the conversion kit allows two 2.5″ drives to be installed. Less worry for the family system to go bust again as this was the case for replacing the old 3.5″ hd.

Pros: Speedy little 7200RPM notebook drive. I was able to make a cheap external HD with it for my G/f’s laptop, to store Plastic canvas Patterns. It does what it does well enough for her needs. I would buy again if needed. Love Seagate on the price per gigabyte compared to some of the others out there. Can’t go wrong with Seagate if your on a budget.
Cons: None that i can think of so far.
Overall Review: If your gonna make it into an external HD make sure you get a decent case for it, and a padded sleeve for traveling. Just to think i paid almost double this a WD 80GB 2.5in drive about a year 1/2 ago lol.
Pros: Quality hard drive for a work load laptop. It runs very quiet and very quick with its 7200 RPM’s and the 16MB cache. It really helps you to move nice chunks of data around quickly. I just bought a 2nd one to replace another bad laptop HDD.
Just the right size for a work laptop or a casual internet surfing laptop.
Cons: Obviously not the kind of disk you want to store tons of videos, pictures, music, or games on. You will fill up 80GB in no time.
Overall Review: You cannot beat the price.
I went to a local B.B. store and the smallest SATA 2.5 drive they had was 120GB, 5400RPM and that was for ~$119.99

Pros: Cool running 16MB of cache 7200rpm quiet drive.
Cons: Writing another great review on a Seagate drive while still professing I’m a Western Digital Man.I feel so two faced
Overall Review: I run two of these in a RAID-0 in my Highend gamming rig and they run great and fast and cool.I bought these to use in hot swap bay in a Raid-0 for Windows7. I also run two WD VelociRaptor in the same rig but I’ve been running these two Seagate for the past four weeks while my Raptors are sitting on the shelf. These two drives in Raid run just that good, no lie I also run two of the older Seagates 80 gig 8MB cache drives in my Media Center PC for just the OS drive in RAID-0 can not hear them at all. These are some really nice drives. I am a WD guy still right? I do my research and I buy what works and last.
