Eggxpert ReviewPros: We run a computer repair shop and order a lot of these drives. In over 25 drives ordered in the last few months only one arrived DOA and it was warranty replaced quickly. For an all around hard drive this one works great – and we haven’t had any come back in the last year for failures. Overall, very pleased.
Cons: I wan’t able to convince this hard drive to negotiate with the online banking systems to increase the balance on my checking account – very disappointed 🙂
Overall Review: Upside down? Really? Drives work in any position – they’re a sealed unit designed to function in any installed orientation. Change your tech level to very low and stop bashing a good drive with your inexperience.

Overall Review: Purchased this for a customer’s computer because he dropped the laptop when the drive was spinning and ended up causing some damage. I threw this in his laptop and also upgraded it from vista to 7. He said it works well and the overall laptop is better now thanks to the new drive and windows 7. I’d recommend the drive. It’s a good price.
Pros: Inexpensive and arrived safely thanks to excellent packaging from NewEgg.
Cons: I strongly prefer Samsung Spinpoint over Seagate Momentus for personal reasons. The photos in this listing clearly shows a Samsung Spinpoint, Made in Korea. Must be an old photo. The 3 drives I have received since Seagate bought the Samsung division, are Made in China with Seagate Momentus written next to the Samsung Spinpoint name.
Overall Review: It appears that Seagate is relabeling their Momentus drives with the Samsung name. Based on past purchases of notebook drives, Samsung notebook drives were made in Korea, and Seagate drives are made in China. Did Seagate shut down the Samsung manufacturing plants? I don’t really care who owns the Korean plant, as long as I’m purchasing Samsung designed, Korean manufactured drives as I am led to believe with this listing. The Key phrase in this listing is “Made in Korea” as printed on the label that’s shown.
Pros: Replaced a laptop HD with one of these. No problems.

Pros: Upgraded my Fat PS3 40GB hard drive to this 320GB without issue. Easy install and the drive is very quiet.
Cons: None at this point. Will update if I do.
Overall Review: I’ve owned my PS3 for 5 years now and finally upgraded the hard drive. Very happy that I did.
Pros: 2nd disk I received had no issues
Cons: – Bad sectors with 1st disk received (Knocked an egg)
Overall Review: Besides the RMA, I have no issues with this Hard drive. A client needed a new hard drive on a budget but needed some space for files, so this was a perfect size and cost purchase
Pros: I have a launch system 60gig PS3… I was easily able to upgrade. All that was needed was a flash drive 32gig, I ran the backup system on the ps3 to the flash.. replaced the old 60gig for the 320gig.. Took less than 5 minutes..
Cons: none so far….
Overall Review: I feel silly that I didn’t upgrade sooner.. I was intimidated by the whole process, but after doing it once.. It couldn’t be easier…

Pros: The SATA connectors are mounted properly on the hard drive (all HDD’s have the SATA connectors that way), I’m guessing your previous hard drive manufacturer was told to mount them the other way.
But the hard drive doesnt care which way it is mounted, it will perform the same.

Overall Review: Don’t leave a negative review if you dont understand how the SATA connectors are mounted, also look at the products picture and details before buying
