Overall Review: When I was shopping for a hard drive to upgrade my wife’s Macbook, I knew that I did NOT want a 7200rpm drive (I had previously installed one in the same computer and it created a vibration in the keyboard AND cause a 30 minute loss in battery life). So I searched for the fastest possible 5400rpm drive – that search led me to the Samsung HM250HI single platter drive. This drive actually is faster than the previous 7200rpm that I had! I knew it would be faster, but I never would’ve thought that it would be this noticeable! Best money I’ve spent on a tech upgrade in a long time!
Pros: Great harddrive setup immediately and runs smooth

Overall Review: quiet!
Pros: Solid HDD for a laptop that needs more disk space. I upgraded from an 80GB to this one & am now dual booting XP & Windows 7 with plenty of room to spare.
Cons: None if it keeps working.
Overall Review: Be careful installing this small, fragile piece.

Pros: Great HDD. So far so good. Great upgrade, absolutely no complaints.
Cons: None – well maybe should have gone with a 320 or 500 GB, but that’s my fault not the drives.
Overall Review: Used a trick to back up the PS3. 1. Put this drive in Rosewill enclosure I bought at the same time. 2. Backed up to this new drive. 3. Saved back up to my NTFS laptop hard drive. 4. Switched HDDs in the PS3. 5. Put old PS3 HDD in Rosewill enclosure and loaded backup from laptop. 6. Restored backup to PS3. No issues
