Overall Review: Bought it to put on shelf for spare. Haven’t had opportunity to use it yet.

Overall Review: Bought this drive, 10/24/14. Got it in about 3-4 days. Replaced old worn out drive (a WD Blue,had a lot of bad sectors, lasted about 5 years). Got it all up and running. No issues until about ~ 8 months later, upon a routine reboot it wouldn’t boot into windows 8, wouldn’t be recognized in the bios, and started making a constant clicking sound. Working on finding a place to repair and get my data off of it. I would not recommend buying this unless you have a solid backup routine in place, or you simply aren’t going to be storing any valuable information..
Pros: Shipped well packaged.
Cons: DOA!!! Need I say more?
Overall Review: Newegg replaced quickly. First HDD to failed upon arrival, guess first time for everything.
Pros: Works great, I treat ts as a secondary drive in my Mini ITX rig.

Cons: Dead out of the box – most poorly packaged HD I have received in over 30 years of PC service.
Overall Review: Done buying anything from this outfit! Poorer quality every time I buy something from them, takes longer to get every time, and I assume will take hours of my time to get the item replaced, which since it took way longer to get the item, I could not make my client wait even longer, so just went and bought one off the shelf at Staples.

Pros: I’ve purchased at least 20 of these drives as replacement units for my small computer repair shop. Streaming reads max out just under 100 MB/sec. I have yet to return a single unit.
Cons: I have nothing negative to say about these drives.
Overall Review: If you want a cheap laptop drive with decent capacity, apparently excellent reliability, and good performance, you really can’t go wrong with this drive.
