Ownership: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Worked as advertised. NewEgg specs right on.
Cons: Power saving is automatic, taking a very noticible time to wake-up, seemingly confusing the system periodically. Drive periodically emits a high pitch chirp/beep as it seemingly changes power state.
Overall Review: Drive didn’t seem to play nice with other devices, dropping to SE mode. Had to suffle channels to get full speed. Maybe other drives were the problem?
Ownership: 1 week to 1 month
Pros: Very fast hard drive. Peaks at 100 MB sec on HdTach, with 6 sec random seek. To put that into perspective, my WD Special edition peaks at 50mb a sec and 12 sec random seek time.
Cons: Hard to set up, but then that’s more of a controller card issue. Was getting 40 MB a sec until I enabled disconnect.
