Pros: fast drive for my older pc…the 8mb buffer really helps.
Cons: none
Pros: Fast. Quiet.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Good for a linux hard drive.
Pros: Nice drive, quiet. it was a good upgrade over my old Maxter that fried itself.
Cons: Took about an hour and a half to figure out the Fxing pins and get my motherboard to recognize the drive and let me install
XP
Overall Review: Good deal for the price
Pros: This Drive does exactly what it is supposed to do and well. It is a drive that replaced another 80Gb drive in a Dell Dimension 4500 series machine which would not support a drive over this size.
Cons: None
Overall Review: This comes with a 3 year warranty, it is cheap and runs fast.
Pros: Very Quite Operation Works as described
Cons: none at this time
Pros: Great price, whisper quite.
Cons: none to date
Overall Review: I read a lot of reviews on other sights and Hitachi HD were always at the top.
Pros: Perfect hard drive for the price.
Cons: none that I know of
Overall Review: none

Pros: Excellent choice for upgrade in older boxes – (just did u/g to 1.2Ghz AMD w/.75 gig ram) The 7200 rpm/8mb cache improves performance considerably – quiet, runs much cooler than Maxtor 40Gb.
Cons: None!
Overall Review: If you don’t know what you are doing and run any flavour of Windoze – buy the RETAIL version with the CD and instruction manual so U can set up the drive and transfer ALL files (including boot sector) if you plan to use it as a boot drive!
PS: Ubuntu Linux is free and blows the doors off that other op sys!
