Description
The HP ProLiant DL165 G7 is a high performance, low cost, ultra-dense rack server designed for memory intensive High Performance Computing (HPC) environments, web serving and memory intensive applications. This 1U rack (Model 590260-001) includes one 8-core AMD Opteron 6136 processor with shared 12MB L3 cache. To support all the processing power, it pre-installs 8GB of DDR3 memory and will allow up to 256GB DDR3 memory to be installed in its 24 DIMM slots to keep up with your business growth.
The server supports either SAS hard drives for performance or lower cost SATA hard drives for capacity, making storage more reliable, versatile, and affordable than ever. Integrated dual gigabit Ethernet controllers with two ports each provides increased network throughput and efficiency. The whole thing is powered by a high efficiency 500 Watt auto-switching, PFC power supply so the system will get all the power that it needs.
G7 ProLiant systems can tell when power is being wasted and compensate for it. Smart Sensors throughout the server allow intelligent actions to preserve, protect and enhance performance and power savings. With the HP ProLiant DL165 G7, you can focus on your business, rather than IT.
