Pros: 1. machine was cleaned up inside out, looks brand new except some minor scratch ( not noticeable )
2. Excellent performance thanks to its large memory size ( 256G RAM ).
A few customization are done to make it primary desktop for home office:
1. replaced Quadro K600 with Quadro K2200 for dual 4k monitor.
2. installed RHEL 8.4 on 1T SSD as the primary OS
3. add one HGST 8T disk as primary data disk.
4. add one Solarflare 10G network card as primary NIC
5. replace stock DVD drive with LG Blue Ray writer for backup purpose.
Overall, great workstation for daily work.
Cons: slow boot process ( not fault of the seller ) most likely attribute to the self-test of large size memory. It is common for dell precision workstation though.
