Pros: works on my Onda B250 D8P v1 mining board, which can be picky about ram. dropped it in and fired it up.
NO LEDs!
i have not tried overclocking it, just running stock.
Cons: none, unless you like LEDs
Pros: price was right, reliability is great, made my laptop workflow much better. Fit was perfect.
Cons: none
Overall Review: Anyone thinking of more ram would be happy with these and frankly, anyone running less then 16gb in today’s world would be foolish in my opinion. The operating systems of today are so badly coded they require space to operate in. It is not like in the ’80s where a whole OS could be booted off a floppy disk
Pros: relatively cheap to double memory
plug-and-play
Cons: none yet…..
Overall Review: Direct replacement for HP 862398-855 8GB memory module, and a LOT cheaper. Works great for me…..
This laptop needed more memory REAL badly!
Pros: Inexpensive, worked first time, and passed hardware RAM test.
I installed this in my Lenovo T480 to go from 8GB to 16GB of RAM. It has a CAS latency of 17… there is more a expensive model of G.SKILL RAM with a CAS latency of 16. However, the Samsung 8GB RAM stick the machine came with has a CAS latency of 17, and no-one overclocks laptops. So there’s no point installing more expensive RAM.
I installed it, booted up, ran a random-pattern RAM test on my machine, and it passed with flying colors. Yay!
Cons: None. It just works.
Overall Review: At $52 for 8GB, this was the best value RAM around, and for installing into a Lenovo machine to bump from 8GB to 16GB, it’s perfect.
Pros: worked just fine in a OMEN by HP – 17-an012dx I would guess it will work in other OMEN laptops NP
I had 1×8 gig and 1×4 gig in my system stock so I changed out the stock 4 gig stick for a stick of G.SKILL Ripjaws 8gig . booted up np comes with a nice sticker to lol
Cons: RAM cost to dam much
Overall Review: very happy so far
Pros: So far works great. Easy install. installed 2 and no problems at all. would buy again if I ever need more.
Cons: No cons so far.
Overall Review: Have not received new part yet. Will comment after I receive part.

Pros: I have used gskill memory since they hit the scene, quality is always great. This stick added to my new laptop brings me up to 16gb and it flys. No hassle instantly worked and is well priced.
Cons: Price at the same time. Memory prices are ridiculous. This is the lowest price stick of laptop memory I would even consider. No heat spreader, but that’s not a big deal to me anymore.
Overall Review: Good stick of memory, my laptop feels like a desktop with this in there. Gskill is also a great brand and I have never had an issue recommending or using their products. Matter of fact I have never had a stick of Gskill memory fail on me out of using around a hundred in various builds. Very solid brand and always well priced.
