Pros: Easy to install, look just like normal RAM.

Cons: Using in my computer caused a graphics/screen fail where the entire system would lock up and I could only continue by restarting the computer. This made any memory-intense usages impossible, thereby making them pointless. Specifically, I couldn’t run any resource heavy games for more than a short period of time.

I was unable to get a screenshot whenever this happened, but basically there were large, diagonal screen tears, lots of random colors, and the system would allow me to move the mouse for only a short time before that, too, locked up.

Overall Review: My system:
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2020)
Processor 3.1 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5
Memory 8 GB 2667 MHz DDR4
Graphics AMD Radeon Pro 5300 4 GB

Obviously, this is a desktop class computer and I purchased Laptop Memory. I didn’t know there was a significant difference. Someone told me, “Memory is memory; if the chips fit into the given slot, you should be fine.”

It’s unclear if these would work fine in a laptop, but for me, they’re nothing but a waste of money.

Pros: I’ve got these DIMMs in a NUC7, which isn’t even supposed to support 32gb DIMMS (16×2 is the stated max!) but it’s running great with 64gb using these DIMMS.. no problems encountered

Cons: No cons..

Overall Review: I chose these because they were literally the cheapest 32gb DIMMS available. They’re working great.. no complaints. I’m not an overclocker, so they’re being used as designed.

Pros: Have not had a dead ram sticks sent to me so far. Been using G skill for about 7-10 years now.
So i have had no reason to use customer support for G. skill or new egg with their products.
Over all top notch and have lasted in every computer i have had. As well as computers i have upgraded for family.

Cons: Price is a lot higher then it was before.
Shipping, With ups has become a joke. But that is not on the product. This use to take one or two days from jersey or NY. Now it takes a lot more time.

Overall Review: The product i have not had any prob with, in 10 years. So just like anyone else, there must be some good testing and guidelines being gone threw. Unlike other places that are not iso regulated or otherwise for quality. I worked testing chips for other products.
As for shipping and price, everyone knows how that is. No where near what it was.
Make no mistake, I will mention the whole experience. The product being good or trash, the length of wait time and how the company selling has treated me in detail. There is no sugar coating or non-sense with me about that. Respect is earned not given, companies that produce trash do not deserve respect. Nor do companies that ruin other people property and try to blame them for it.
