Pros: Should be killer memory will update when I get it in my system. (waiting on cooler bracket for cpu)
Cons: Guys I don’t understand why it is acceptable to pack a $250 kit of memory in a yellow lightly padded envelope. This is disappointing.
Overall Review: Hope it didn’t get damaged. Please this needs some QOS the packaging was weak and torn. The ram is in a plastic case so I don’t expect damage, however this isn’t a $40 value kit of memory.
Will be trying this kit on a Ryzen build even though its not officially supported by the motherboard.
Thank you for choosing G.Skill. We are sorry to hear you are not satisfied with NewEgg packaging. They are responsible for sending you a perfect product, so if you have any problems, let them know and they will take care of it without question. To properly provide feedback to them, please contact them directly to express your concerns. Unless the package is purposely harmed, the blister shell packaging should protect the RAM without a problem. With regards to compatibility, this memory kit may not run at full speed for an AMD Ryzen build. Not many motherboards can at this time, but you can attempt a lower frequency and use that until a BIOS update is released to improve compatibility. Should you need help or have any questions, please feel free to contact us directly.
Thank you

Pros: Great RAM, runs as advertised.
Cons: Quality control is lacking. Filmsy red plastic holds the heatsink on.
Overall Review: These have been great for about a year and a half. Then I heard something slide in my PC case. Looking into it on one of the RAM sticks the red plastic broke/melted off which keeps the grey heatsink you see in the pictures attached to the side of the RAM stick. So now I have no heatsink attached and hoping it doesn’t run too hot. Just glad it didn’t short circuit something on my mobo when it fell off. The second RAM stick still has the red plastic attached so the heatsink is still “there” but has detached from the side of the RAM stick itself and just kind of there.
Good to hear the memory is performing well in your system. We can take care of the heat spreader issue right away. Visit the G.Skill website to submit the RMA form online. Send the memory in and we will gladly exchange it with a new set. A replacement kit will not have the same problem. For any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us directly for assistance.

Overall Review: Would definitely recommend!
Pros: ~Great Price
~Good Specs
Cons: ~Not compatible at rated speed with Ryzen (currently on AGESA 1006A, and can’t reach 3200MHz. Closest was 2999MHz with VSoC at 1.2V in a Gigabyte GA-AX370-Gaming K7 currently on BIOS F5).
~m-die Hynix modules, pretty much on the low end of the quality control spectrum from what I’ve found about the differences thus far, which makes it not a priority to make compatible (quit possibly even for Intel) to reach specified speeds.
Good to hear you got the RAM at a great price. This is a high performance and capacity memory kit that will work great with a motherboard listed on the G.Skill QVL (link below). This model is designed for the Intel Z170/270 chip sets so compatibility may vary for AMD. For optimal results, always check to see which memory kits are compatible with a motherboard using the G.Skill RAM Configurator. It can be difficult for most AMD Ryzen systems to reach DDR4-3200 with 16GB modules. Manual overclocking is required as the AMD CPU can only support up to DDR4-2933 natively, which may be the reason you noticed a limitation. But keep in mind this is not a limitation or fault of the memory kit. There is nothing low end about this memory kit; as I mentioned before, it can work great with an Intel platform it was designed for.
BIOS version F6 is available for the motherboard, and it does include significant memory updates, so upgrade to the latest version and you should notice an improvement. Should you need help with set up or have any other questions, please feel free to contact us directly.

Pros: G-Skill is my preferred choice for RAM. High Quality for a great price.
And they sell at every single price range. If you want Ram, I recommend 2 Manufacturers, GSkill & Corsair.
Managed to run Stable at 16-17-17-17 @ 3200 & 16-18-18-18 @ 3260 & also tried running them at 3330 with 16-18-18-18 with at AUTO Voltage. All Good,
Cons: None so far, and they run Cool.
