Cons: Stay away.
Overall Review: I purchased this about 2 months ago, it doesn’t work as expected.
Once XMP II is enabled, the system doesn’t boot, not getting the advertised speed.
My system is 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-11900KF @ 3.50GHz / ROG STRIX Z590-E.
XMP II should work as it is compatible but issues continue.
We can surely assist with this issue if you contact us directly for assistance. First, check to see if you have the latest BIOS for the motherboard. Slots two and four away from the CPU should be populated (A2 B2). In case XMP Profile alone does not work, try a lower DRAM Frequency with XMP enabled to see what can. If a lower DRAM Frequency is stable, the CPU internal memory controller may be overloaded. To determine whether it may be an issue with DRAM, test each module individually to see if one performs differently than the other. If one does, send them in for RMA and a replacement kit should work much better. For any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the G.Skill support team directly for assistance.

Pros: I purchased this about 3 months ago, my system started randomly crashing. Windows memtest said everything was fine, but I finally ran memtest86, took several hours but one of the sticks has a ton of errors. Now chasing Trident for a replacement. Bought a bunch of Newegg stuff over the years, no more, they really are not in the business of any support.
Cons: Dont sell defective parts.
Overall Review: Stay away.

Pros: looks pretty with the lights and stuff but is not worth much more
Cons: installed on a ASUS ROG Strix X570-E motherboard with an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X. i updated the bios and tried and tried, asked question both here and on other forums and there is no way to get the advertised speed out of this ram. the highest i can get it is 3800mhz and anything over that and system will not boot up. so basically just tossing cash out the window and sitting on ram that does not do what it was bought for.
Overall Review: as a 3800 ram this is great but that was not what it was sold for.
Good to hear the memory kit is working well in your new build. Your motherboard is not listed on the G.Skill QVL or RAM Configurator for this memory model, so the rated specifications can not be expected. Luckily the RAM uses compatible chips so you are still able to maximize system performance. As AMD states, the Ryzen 5000 series CPUs perform best with a maximum of DDR4-4000. You may be able to force the DRAM Frequency slightly higher, however it would actually lower overall system performance.
Since you purchase a memory kit better than the rest of the system can support, one method to optimize performance is by lowering timings. You can also raise DRAM Voltage to further enhance capabilities if you wish.
