Pros: It comes with a 14/3200 ratio in XMP mode but was able to BIOS it from 9/2400 all the way to 15/4000 for gaming. Great flexibility. Best results at 12/3400…1.6V (‘gaming’ stable)
Cons: After a bunch of tweaking and overclocking one of the two sticks stooped registering. swapped the sticks between each other and back to normal. no real problems for 6 months now.
Overall Review: April 25, 2019 update:
Running this kit fully stable at 4000 Mhz (16-17-17-37) 1.42 V (MSI MEG Z390 ACE mobo) in Memetest86!
Also fully stable at 3500 Mhz (14-14-14-34) 1.42 V (ASUS Prime Z370 & MSI MEG Z390 ACE)
Will try 4400 Mhz (19-19-19-39) and is stable will tighten the timings.
This is what Samsung B die can get you!
April 26, 2019 update:
Fully stable at 4400 Mhz (19-19-19-39) 1.42 V (MSI MEG Z390 ACE & 8700K OC to 5.2 Ghz)
P.S. My FBS = 200 Mhz
May 3rd, 2019 update:
Fully stable at 4400 Mhz (18-18-18-38) 1.42 V (MSI MEG Z390 ACE & 8700K OC to 5.2 Ghz)
Fully stable at 4000 Mhz (16-16-16-36) 1.42 V (MSI MEG Z390 ACE & 8700K OC to 5.2 Ghz)
Pros: Works perfect with Asus aura sync, run at rated overclock speed straight from XMP profile no adjustment necessary
Overall Review: I could not get my four sticks of 8 G Skill Ripjaws V to run at the rated 3600 speed. I wondered if it was just too much for the memory controller to handle within four separate sticks. Popped these in and my Asus ROG Crosshair Hero VII immediately recognized them and set the XMP profile and they run 3600 no issues at all. Aura Sync picked them up and matched the LED color to the rest of my system. What more could I ask for?

Pros: -Easy: Set the XMP profile in your BIOS and you are ready to go at the rated 4400Mhz, correct timings and voltage without wasting any time trying to find stable settings. I am a huge fan of overclocking but I do not enjoy overclocking memory because there are all sorts of random scenarios where memory overclock causes crashes weeks after passing stress tests
-Beautiful: I think this is the best looking rgb RAM on the market. I have been using Corsair Dominator series for almost 10 years so I was initially looking at COrsair RGB kit but I cant get over how slick these look! man this kit is really good looking! Works beautifully with Aura Sync
Cons: -Sometimes hard to find in stock
-A bit expensive but high end memory is always expensive
Overall Review: I got the 16GB (2 x 8GB) 4400Mhz CAS 16 kit.
Awesome memory. Make sure you have a high end motherboard as I have heard some people have issues running memory at these speeds. Im using this kit on an ASUS ROG Maximus XII Formula and I have no issues.
Overall Review: The ram looks great and runs at the speed advertised. Although it says AMD on the box it works with my i9 10850k. One of the lights on the ram flickers/doesn’t listen to the rgb software. This stick turns off randomly and wont back turn on. Would’ve given a 5 star rating if all the rgb worked without any issues.

Thank you for your G.Skill purchase and review. We are sorry to hear a module is not working as expected. First, check to see if you have the latest BIOS for the motherboard. RGB lighting control software is designed for the latest revisions so generally it is best to have all the latest. Try a full reset by shutting down all power including from power supply, press power button, then boot the system to see if it can work properly. Swap modules around to see if it follows the memory stick or slot. If it follows the RAM, send them in for RMA and a replacement should work much better. For any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact the G.Skill support team directly.

Pros: The ram performs great and looks awesome! I am a previous owner of G.Skill Trident ram and you can go wrong with this purchase.
Cons: No issues to report.
Overall Review: If anyone has been in the similar boat of waiting for the option to sync the new G.Skill Trident Z RGB ram to Asus Aura, I found a way to do it. G.Skill announced on their site that the rgb control software will be released in February. Well, February is here and still no software listed yet. I have an Asus Strix Z270E board and the Aura software that is listed under support does not allow you to control the G.Skill RGB. That version of Aura is 1.04.21. However, if you go to the ROG Maximus IX Apex support page (it’s probably under some other Asus boards as well that are Aura ready) you will see Lighting_Control_10422 under the utilities section under downloads. That is the next version of Aura, version 1.04.22. Once you install that you will be able to see the dram in the sync list and the perpetual rainbow can be forgotten. You can now sync your ram with the rest of your board/gpu…if you have Asus parts of course. I hope that helps someone.
Pros: Installed the RAM sticks and the machine functions very nicely. Benchmark performance was higher, and the LED lighting makes the motherboard light up that much more. System appears stable. Installing in an ASUS Rampage VI Extreme motherboard and Intel 7920X 2066 processor.
Cons: Price. RAM is not cheap.
Overall Review: Get this item if you want the bragging rights to your PC build, and if you’re willing to spend a fortune on a PC system.
Pros: Lights, RGB
Speeds a gud.
Don’t really have an application that utilizes 32 GB of memory, but appications insta-launch.
Cons: My gripe isn’t about the ram per-se, but about people showing their builds off in these reviews. No one wants to see your ugly build, we just want to see what the memory and clock speeds look like.
Overall Review: RGB Memory is clean, iCue and Armoury can cause visibly conflicting errors, ensure you correct this in your software to allow one software to control the other.

Pros: – Trident Z RGB is known for being highly compatible with most boards out there
– one of the few 3200 models on the QVL list for my am4 mobo
Cons: – has ignored my advances
– will not make me a sandwhich
– does not run hot enough to warm my coffee
Overall Review: has run flawlessly and continuously in my system for about half a year now.
