Pros: – Can be fine-tuned, with timings tightened EVEN FURTHER- *Lights can be customized through motherboard software
Cons: – Achieving the 4,000Mhz CL16 is NOT NECESSARILY as simple as just turning on XMP – more granular fine-tuning MAY be required to get your OS to boot.- *G.Skill’s Trident Z Lighting Control software is BUGGY and WILL steadily STEAL CPU time for who-knows-what!
Overall Review: Let’s be honest; 4,000Mhz CL 16 is nothing to sneeze at! HOWEVER, the Intel XMP profile that supposedly accommodates this may not allow Windows to start. It seems to be a bit of a gamble dependent on your build/setup. THAT SAID, with just a little bit of research and fiddling/tuning, I was able to tighten the timings to achieve stable CL 15 at 3,800Mhz, which is actually better. So no (real) complaints here! It is worth mentioning, however, that the G.Skill Trident Z Lighting Control software is buggy, at best, and a trojan/virus/malware at worst. DO NOT USE IT to control the pretty colors!Instead, use the associated RGB control software that your motherboard supports. The Polychrome Sync software works for me – I have an ASRock Z590 Extreme WiFi 6e.
Pros: fast
works as advertised
great look
Cons: kinda hurts to oush it into slot because outside is so pointy :/
Overall Review: don’t know why others had issues. mine works perfectly as advertised. my advice, build it right and don’t use cheap power or mobo like the other guys who reviewed. corsair ax1000, i9 10900k, msi z490 godlike, rtx 3090, and this. overclocking cooled by 3 in 4 out fans and thermaltake 360mm AIO.
Overall Review: The best ram in the history
Overall Review: I like it
Pros: – nice look
– b-die
– fast
Cons: – overheating
– neweg customer support are scammers
– unstable in rendering
Overall Review: As everyone knows, samsung b-die modules need to stay below 55 degrees
Unfortunately, these modules reach over 60 degrees when rendering, and therefore I have bluecreens. It’s okay to play as the temperature barely reaches 52 degrees Celsius to work properly. For comparison, the trident z (non rgb) does not exceed 45 degrees even during hard work.
These modules are not suitable for hard work like renderig, they are only for gaming or light work! RI gor reply form Neweg Customer Support: We don’t recognize the problem, you have to pay the full return fee. 15% of the item’s value + shipping fee!
Everything is fine as long as you want to give them money and do not want to enforce your rights as a consumer.
They pretend to be incompetent or they are! Be warned and avoid this shop!
We can surely help with this issue. If you feel there may be a memory issue, test each module individually to see if both have the same maximum results. Since DDR4-4000 is unstable, try DDR4-3800 or lower to see if that can work better. If it can, the issue may lie elsewhere such as BIOS settings or CPU internal memory controller limitation. The temperatures mentioned should be fine for the RAM, however you are welcome to send them in for RMA exchange to see if a replacement kit can work better. Visit the G.Skill website for complete RMA information. For any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly.

Pros: Optically pleasing.
Solid build.
Cons: XMP states: 16-19-19-39 @ 4000Mhz. I could not get my PC to post when enabling XMP. I tried adjusting voltages up and down. I could never get it to boot with those timings. I did finally get it to boot at 18-19-19-50 @ 4000MHz.
Overall Review: My system:
Motherboard: Gigabyte X570 AORUS ULTRA. CPU: 3700x. Power supply: Corsair rx 850.
I was looking for 32gigs of 4000Mhz ram with good timings. I wanted these to work for my planned Ryzan 5000 series upgrade. However, my tighter timings at 3600 with my old ram performed better than this kit. At this point it was not worth it to me to keep this kit, I have since returned it.
The motherboard mentioned has not been certified capable of this memory kit’s XMP Profile specifications, so the result is no surprise. In the future, use a memory kit listed on the G.Skill QVL or RAM Configurator for guaranteed results. AMD Ryzen 3700X CPU can not natively support DDR4-4000, so surely additional BIOS adjustment would be necessary to stabilize a higher DRAM Frequency. Also as AMD states, for optimal performance by maintaining a 1:1 Infinity Fabric ratio, DDR4-3733 is the ideal DRAM Frequency for the 3000 series processors. The upcoming 5000 series may support higher so this memory kit would natively perform much better. For any questions or issues in the future, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly for assistance. Without reaching out to us, we are unable to share our expertise.

Pros: Plugged in and enabled XMP, booted first try.
Fast memory.
Decent timings.
Good for benchmarking.
Good for gaming (might be overkill)
Cons: The RGB control program doesn’t work
When I installed the RGB program from G.skil it crashed my computer. After rechecking and installing older versions it appears this program will not work with my hardware and software combo.
The MSI mystic light software saw the RAM once and I was able to set the RGB colour once. after reboot this option is gone and the RAM is back to rainbow.
Overall Review: The function of the memory is great so far, mostly benchmarks and a few games. The RGB is a waste of money and at this point I wish there were a hardware switch on the DIMMs to turn off the RGB entirely as glowing rainbow is annoying in a white and red build.
The performance in memory intensive applications shines through, gaming was minimal improvement.
I have not tried overclocking the RAM yet. but at stock speeds it pairs nicely with 5.1ghz 9900k with 47x ring

Pros: Looks great
Low latency
Asus Auro compatible
Fast, fast, fast
Cons: Relatively expensive
Overall Review: Paired 4x 16GB of these with an Asus ROG Maximus XII Extreme and an Intel i9 10900K. Works great! It looks awesome in the case. An eye catcher for sure.
