Pros: *** I took a bit of a chance on this one, but it worked out well with MY set-up. ***

– While this kit is not on my motherboard’s QVL list [MSI x470 Gaming Plus], it booted up my 3700X and immediately got the XMP profile loaded – always a good sign w/ Ryzen…
– Using DRAM calculator on the “SAFE” setting, I got it stable @ 3600mhz 16-17-19-19, 1.39v.
– Although very fast when OCed to 3800 cl18, the 1.45v was higher than what I wanted to leave it at for everyday use.

Cons: – Tried to get this running for about 30 minutes and couldn’t get more than 2133 on a 2700X. 🙁
– Luckily, Zen 2 chips worked better out of the box with this kit.
HOWEVER…
– Using an r5 3600, I was unable boot with RAM in slots A2 and B2…had to use A1 and A2. Could load XMP, even OC to the same #’s as my 3700. While still decently fast, I was a bit disappointed it wasn’t using dual channel mode.
– I wish it had faster CAS latency #s… but this can be greatly offset with some tweaking as mentioned earlier.

Overall Review: – As far as AMD compatibility, I am unsure if the issues I had booting the 3600 affected just that particular chip or all 3600s in general. Just be aware that unless this kit is on the QVL, it’s a bit of a dice roll and YMMV…
– People seem to advise getting RAM with the lowest possible latency for Ryzen chips, but this can get expensive and not worth the extra $, IMO. I was able to OC and get tighter timings, giving better performance than stock. That really makes the price to performance a much more logical choice for those on a budget.
– When I bought this kit (early 8/2019), it was the best price I could find on 32gb/3600. I am satisfied with my purchase. Recommended!

Overall Review: Works great with my motherboard Asus Prime b450m-a (easily set 3466 16-18-18-36). CPU is Ryzen 5 2600.

Pros: Good capacity and speed for the price

Had no issues running 3600Mhz CL16-19-20-36 on an MSI MPG X570 Gaming X Wifi

Overall Review: The memory is Hynix CJR

Pros: I used 128G on a GIGABYTE X299 AORUS Ultra Gaming Pro (rev. 1.0) with a Intel Core i7-7820X Skylake-X 8-Core CPU. I ran a 13 hour sys_basher memory test using the XMP profile. The memory passed the test without errors.

I’ve always found G.Skill memory to be reliable.

Cons: The DIMMs are a few millimeters too tall. The CPU cooler fans a sitting on top of the DIMMs and they are positioned about a quarter of an inch higher than they are supposed to be.

Pros: Ran 3200 Mhz and was able to tighten them less than their original timings easily

Pros: Arrived quickly from Newegg warehouse: Kudos to Newegg shipping staff
Easy to install
Only could run at 3466 stable:
– XMP profile was set in BIOS at 3600
– 3 times BSOD: Win10 Pro were booted up alright each time, but BSOD after running from a few minutes to 20 minutes (with various error messages)
– Selected 3466 instead and it has been running fine (ran Cinebench and other MemTest programs 3 times without any crashes)
– No real-life differences (from boot-up to running various applications) from previous set of memory modules running at 2666 (with CL16)

Update as of 08/07/2019 (Above initial review was written 06/18/2019 3:10:01 PM):
– After having some time to play with the timings, here is the best I have as stable:
CL-tRC-tRP-tRAS-tRC = 16-18-18-36-54 running at 3400 MHz
– Could run above timing at 3466 but with a couple BODs (a few days apart; total occurrence = 2), since lowering it down to 3400, no problems!
– One may ask, have you noticed/measured any differences in terms of boot time and other? No, not really. Psychologically the boot time might have shortened by 1/2 seconds (the boot time has been 10 seconds or less since Day 1)
– Just looking at the improvement on CL (CAS# Latency): 16% (16 vs 19) – I am a happy camper.

Cons: Instead of the stated 19-20-20-40-60, it is running at 20-20-20-40-60. (Not a big deal, hence did not deduct any eggs in the rating)

Overall Review: I think one of the reasons why I could not get to 3600 is my motherboard which is an entry level board: AsRock AB350 Pro4. I am still impressed with the motherboard which has been running great. Bought the G.Skill modules because it was half the price of my old 4-module set and also wanted to see how Ryzen CPU working with higher frequency memory (and in my case, it makes no difference).

Pros: Pretty stable so far in testing new timing settings
I was able to overclock the memory to tCL 16, tRCDWR 18, tRCDRD 19, tRP 20, and tRAS 36 using 1.39v for the DRAM voltage.

Cons: N/A
