Pros: Nice heat radiators. Runs cool. All 24GB were recognized immediately. Easy to install. Runs at 1600MHz just as advertised. No fiddling around with voltages or anything–ran perfect right out of the package. Glad I bought it!
System: Asus P6X58D, 24GB DDR3, Core i7 920
Cons: None.
Pros: RAM will slay your face. Get tons of sticks today.
G-Skill doesn’t recommend this, but I haven’t had any trouble running dual-channel with each stick purchased individually.
Cons: Cons are people who got out of jail. This RAM ain’t got time for that.
Overall Review: Maybe it has been said, but when you install it, it will show running like 11-11-11-27 or something on Intel boards. All you have to do is go into your bios and set the XMP profile to auto or enabled or whatever. After reboot it should show 9-9-9-24.
Pros: Looks cool and works, but at lower speed (DDR3 1333).
Cons: As said in the pros section, it only works for me at a lower speed, no matter what I tried. If I enable intel XML the computer wont post, giving me short fast beeps and resetting at default settings. If I try to set the speed myself and increase the voltage it does the same thing. Only time I got a reliable boot was when I kept it at default settings. It could be that I don’t know how to exactly set it in bios (I’ve forgotten by now, I was trying to do this when I first got it a month ago, I’m pretty sure I was doing it right), or I think my motherboard might not be compatible with running it at it’s max speed (didn’t check compatibility). I gave up after a day meaning to get back to it, but since I don’t really mind running it at a lower speed I just left it. Still I took off an egg because it should be as simple as enabling XML, since my motherboard specifications say it can handle DDR3 1600.
Overall Review: I have a Gigabyte GA-P43T-ES3G.
Thank you for your G.Skill purchase and review. We are sorry to hear you are unable to get this memory working to speed. With LGA 775 platforms, you need to make sure you CPU FSB is overclocked to 1600MHz in order to operate the memory at DDR3-1600. Unfortunately the XMP Profile will not automatically do this for you, only in the newer LGA 1155, 1156, and such platforms. If you want to avoid overclocking and operate at DDR3-1333, lower the timings to 8-8-8-24, and it should perform just as quick as DDR3-1600 CL9. This memory can perform well if set correctly. Should you need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact our technical support department directly.
Thank you

Pros: Does what it does and does it well and for pretty freakin’ cheap. 4 GB’s and it’s pretty fast. Not tried to overclock it but heard it’s fairly easy and runs well but, not sure if i’ll tinker with it.
Cons: Was not in my house one day and it, drank my orange juice, cat is missing, daughter is pregnant.
Overall Review: Get it. Great RAM.
Pros: Quick, solid, inexpensive, pretty red color.
Cons: They do not give off a bacon aroma.
Overall Review: I installed 4 of these in a new build with zero problems. Heat spreaders aren’t overly tall. Stress tests ran without incident.
Pros: This RAM runs smooth. From the moment it was installed in my MoBo it has run like a champ. I never had to configure it. Automatically at 9-9-9-24@1600@1.50v. I bought and installed 4 sticks. I love having 16GB of RAM
Cons: None
Overall Review: Some people are complaining about this RAM. Please make sure you configure your MoBo to use the correct timing and latency before giving it a bad review. Also make sure your MoBo supports DDR3 1600.
Pros: Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer
We are sorry to hear you are having problem configuring the memory. Please make sure to set DRAM Frequency DDR3-1600, DRAM Timings tCL 9 – tRCD 9 – tRP 9 – tRAS 24, DRAM Voltage 1.50V. Once that is complete, the system should operate smoothly at its rated specifications. If you continue to have a problem, contact our technical support department directly and they will be glad to assist you.
Thank you

Overall Review: If you are using a MSI MOBO you should try to adjust FSB/DRAM Ratio in the Cell menu as these settings above are set automatically. If you are using a black edition CPU and adjust the Multiplier instead of the FSB freq you should use a FSB/ Dram ratio of 1:4 that will set your ram speed to 1600.
