Pros: It boots up!
The QVL list on the asus website only had ONE 2x8gb ram shown, so I was somewhat going out on a limb using this. But the mobo claims to support 32 gig of ram, and only 4 slots, so it MUST accept 2x8gb.
Well, it does. I’m very happy to be possibly the first to report this workable hardware combo. The ram works and I’m very happy.
Cons: This is the very first time Newegg shipping let me down. I’ve been a Newegg shopper for years, and EVERY time I am jaw dropping amazed at how fast the order shows up on my doorstep before I even expect to start looking.
Not this time – over a calendar week. Bad, Newegg! Bad!
No problem though, I’m a die hard Newegg shopper, and continue to tell anyone who will listen how I love Newegg, and how they too should become a customer.
Overall Review: as I stated before, and will state again, Newegg is great.

Some specific models may not be listed on the QVL, but if the hardware has been released for a few months, you can almost always expect them to work without a problem. Pros: I have used this product for a year, and I haven’t had any issues with it so far. Easy to use and install.

Pros: I’ve bought a few of these, and I’ve never had a defective one. I’m not saying that it’s impossible that you could get a defective one, as even the best products have a few defective units, but man these things are reliable.
Installation was incredibly simple; just plug and play!
With the lifetime warranty, I really feel like I can trust G.SKILL with my money. They also appear to be reading reviews on Newegg and following up with any complaints!
Cons: My only complaint is that they won’t send me more! 🙂
Pros: 16gb should be standard for most computer, Comes with cool heat spreader, easy to install

Pros: amazing performance, BUT they are listed as 1600, when I put mine in, they started out at 1866 mhz stock. was a little bit confused at first, but when I set it to 1600 it wouldn’t work. these are straight up 1866 mhz in my computer. AMAZING.

Noticeable difference between the 8GB and 16 GB, Windows 10 boots faster.

Overall Review: If your motherboard like my Gigabyte GA-H81M-HD3 only takes up to 16 GB of RAM up to 1600 Mhz, this is 100% the way to go. I highly recommend GSkill! For heatsink color choicesIf you have a Red PC theme, they got Red, if you went Blue (Like me) they got that, or if orange is how you lit your case, they got that too. I know some people got a bad Gskill RAM stick here or there but This is the Second time I bought GSkill Ares and received both in good working order. I am satisfied 100%.
