Pros: Crucial makes great RAM. I have two of this module previously and had no problems. Great RAM for a great price.
Cons: The first two modules NewEgg sent were not the Ballistic chips advertised. NewEgg was great and refunded some money for their mistake. The new modules sent failed.
Overall Review: These two new modules ordered had problems. They had two different items numbers, and plainly mismarked on the chips (1-1, 2-2). One only tested at 512MB and the other tested at 1GB and then failed. Check the RAM you recieve because you might be getting super bargain RAM instead of Crucial.
Pros: It works
Cons: I had to pay for two sets to find one that worked
Overall Review: I purchased an IBM ThinkCentre PC this spriing to have as a backup XP box. I used NewEgg’s configurator to select the RAM, and bought 2 Gb. When I installed the RAM the PC would not boot. When I replaced the existing, it would. I contacted NewEgg for an RMA, and obtained one.
With this assurance, I sent back my purchase and bought the right RAM, which I determined from IBM’s site. The new RAM worked perfectly.
But NewEgg’s RMA department denied my return and sent my first purchase back to me. Now I’m out the extra dough.
I can understand a company’s right to refuse to take a product back after they have sold it. I have never experienced a company refusing a return after it was authorized.
This is a first, and a last.
Pros: Crucial is solid stuff. I never hesitate buying Crucial as I have NEVER had any problems with them
Cons: NONE
Overall Review: As always….NewEgg had it to me quick too. My 3 items were shipped from 3 different location but arrived the same day at the same time!
Pros: Lifetime warranty, passed extensive memory tests without fail. Good overclock capabilities too.
Cons: None whatsoever.
Overall Review: If you need PC-3200 DDR RAM in a 1 gig stick, pick this up. You will not be disappointed.
Pros: Good product. Works as it should. Good value and price.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Using an Asus K8V SE Deluxe board. When I referenced the memory for this board on other sites, it comes up saying it needs server memory (72 instead of 64). If you’re trying to decide which to use, use the desktop memory for better stability. Reason is because the server memory is ECC, and the desktop is non-ECC, which runs better. Going to get another stick in near future.
Pros: Crucial is the only memory I will buy. Works great, and nice company to deal with.
Cons: none, zip, zero.
Overall Review: That turkey sandwich I had for lunch was awesome.
Pros: Once again, Crucial proves its excellence by sending me another stick of memory that works right out of the box! I have yet to receive a stick of RAM from Crucial that is defective on arrival. I have been and will remain a loyal Crucial memory customer.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: This memory went in to an old 2005 eMachines computer that was no better than a doorstop when my brother gave it to me to fix around Memorial Day of this year. After determining that the problem in the computer was a defective mobo, I obtained an exact replacement mobo, installed it (along with the existing Infineon memory and 2 sticks of this Crucial memory, and the machine is humming along with three GB of system memory running in dual-channel memory mode (Windows XP Media Center Edition 2002 sees only 2.87 GB as 128 MB of the system memory is being used for the onboard video chip’s video memory).

Pros: It works
Cons: Crucial quality has gotten a lot worse. This stick looks like a cheap Ampo stick. Wow for the price you pay for this just go with OCZ or kingston.
Overall Review: If you want cheap ram get Ampo or Corsair value for much cheaper
