Pros: 16 GB, Speed detected automatically, quick replacement for faulty modules
Cons: Memory Errors causing BSODs after about a month, no heatsinks, feels flimsy
Overall Review: Added this to my ASUS P67 Sabertooth for an “upgrade”. Worked for a few weeks, then started getting BSODs. Spent a bunch of time tracking down the RAM as the problem. Usually like Crucial stuff, but this was no good. Went back to Kingston, and no more trouble. They did exchange quickly, but don’t want to lose more time with bad RAM.

Pros: Crucial makes solid ram. Plain green sticks no leds and 3″ tall heatsinks, but these things work well and I had no issues installing them. Typical Crucial quality and compatibility.
Cons: –
Overall Review: Been using Crucial for many years when upgrading standard office pc’s, and never had a single compatibility issue, nor have a stick die on me.
Pros: Runs at advertised speeds (no XMP required) in HP workstations.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I have deployed around 100 of these modules in HP Z220 and Z230 workstations (4x8GB per CAD machine) over the last two years. All have worked flawlessly with no failures or DOA. Significantly less expensive alternative to HP branded memory.
Pros: -16GB
-1600MHz
-On sale for $114.00
Cons: Towards the end of December one of these modules went bad and started referencing Memory BSOD. I originally thought it was my Crucial 128GB SSD as the issues when researching the BSOD kept pointing to the SSD.
After finally removing the SSD from the equation and using a backup HDD. The system seemed stable for a couple of hours.and then BSOD again with the same error. I removed one of the sticks of RAM and I’ve been using the system since with 0 BSOD. I have planed to contact Crucial about this in the near future.
Overall Review: When I used the backup HDD I reinstalled Windows just to make sure Windows wasn’t having issues.

Pros: My old Made In USA Crucial Memory with the same designation worked flawlessly for five years.
Cons: The new Made in China memory worked for 15 minutes before locking up. One chip was bad. Because I waited 30 days before having time to install I had to deal with Micron for the RMA. The first Micron technician stated that I needed a matched 4 chip (2 dual channel) set and needed to return all 4 chips including the USA chips. BIG MISTAKE. Crucial then sent 4 unmatched, used, recertified chips that would not run or even be recognized. This was followed by three more replacement sets of re-certified chips that did not work. This was in spite of the last person stating clearly that I would finally receive a new, retail, sealed dual channel replacement that upon arrival was yet another set of re-certified chips that were not compatible with the second channel. I finally pulled all four, was never able to get my own USA chips back and wrote it off as a loss. I will NEVER buy from Micron again, have sold my Micron stock, will sell cheaply my Micron chips and will find a four chip set of dual channel chips from another manufacturer.
Overall Review: NO I do NOT recommend these to anyone. If you do buy them, install them early and return them to Newegg if there is a problem. Newegg customer service has been great, not so good with Micron Crucial.
Overall Review: This stuff replaced dying ram in the wife’s pc. She sort of noticed a difference, as it was 8gb more than what she had, subtle changes of faster load screens.
Pros: Inexpensive.
Arrived fairly quickly.
Cons: No improvement.
Overall Review: Not sure what the deal was. Ordered this kit to go into an old HP Pavilion that had a single stick.
Saw absolutely no improvement in performance despite doubling the amount of RAM.
Confirmed with HP that this memory was compatible yet if anything it might have been slower. Waiting for return label.
We thank you for your message. We understand your concern and we are sorry for the inconvenience caused. However, we request you to please provide us the make and model of the system so that we would be able to help you in the best possible was.
