Overall Review: Very good rack enclosure with signature APC quality. Purchased this rack for lab environment to house a combination of network, compute, and storage equipment. Rack is has a lot of customization options (separately purchased panels) and most removable panels (doors, roof, etc.) are tool-less.

Pros: Nice strong enclosure to protect your gear in non-datacenter environments. Can be completely disassembled to move it in parts, although it ships fully assembled. Panels are quick release for easily installing new gear. Has both wheels and feet, you can switch between the two by simply extending the feet beyond the wheels, no need to add or remove parts. Good cable management features. Ability to ground the whole enclosure including the doors. Comes with a floor mounting bracket initially used to bolt it to the shipping pallet. Front and back of the actual rack posts are fully adjustable within the enclosure. Grille style doors don’t impede airflow.
Each unit has 3 mounting holes and is numbered for easy reference.
Cons: Nearly the same price as a rack twice its size but that doesn’t matter when you don’t have the clearance to fit a full size rack.
Overall Review: Install your 1U slide-out console in the top unit and it is a comfortable height for use while standing.
One of the rear doors is shorter than the other, leaving a gap at the bottom, which I assume is to allow room for something cabling or cooling related but it is also big enough for animals like cats or raccoons to get in but that’s probably not an issue in most applications
