Pros: small single slot form factor, has nvenc support, cheap, supports low profile
Overall Review: I bought this for video transcoding, it is the cheapest smallest card that supports hardware transcoding. It works well after a little driver configuration (had to add a ppa for linux to get the driver that enables nvenc to work). Works in Plex, Handbrake ffmpeg etc.
Most other cards with this capability are very big (double bay) and expensive…
Pros: Very easy to install, got 3 dell U2412M (1920 X 1200) monitors, displaying 5 Meters away from workstation
(using DP extension cables)
Current PCIe Link Width: 8x
Current PCIe Link Speed: 2.5GT/s
Cons: Linux “Nouveau” driver within kernel 5.2.14 (a rather recent kernel), does NOT support card properly.
– Initialization problem warning.
– Unable to recover display from a “display sleep mode”.
It was needed to install nvidia-driver-430.50, then everything work perfectly.
Overall Review: Nvidia driver report cards working temps to be 42 C, so, I guess, graphic card is working well
within its parameters limits.
Pros: -All the Display ports are the same to you don’t need to worry about buying different cords or adapters for each display port.
-Low Profile Bracket and Adapters included
-Small and Quiet
– AutoCAD Certified GPU *I do question Autodesk’s Certification system so take that comment with a gain of salt.*
Cons: – Its Very similar to consumer GPU at the same price point when it comes to AutoCAD experience in the performance area
– Low bit rate for the high price (other words not cheap)
-Low Clock Speed for the high price (other words not cheap)
Overall Review: I bought this to compare this to a consumer Nvidia GTX 750 ti GPU that sells around the same price if not cheaper. Note I was comparing with AutoCAD Civil 3d strictly no other CAD software and it performed the same. I was not testing games or video editing or encoding because, I don’t do that stuff at my current job. This maybe Autodesk Certified GPU but, after comparing an consumer GPU such as the Nvidia GTX 750 ti with an higher clock speed with higher bit rate it perform just about the same.
To me the idea a certain computer part is Certified by a CAD software seems like snake oil to me due to the fact how this performs. Keep in mind this is clocked lower then most consumer GPUs at the same price point and runs just as well.
Pros: After setting up for 3 monitors it initially worked.
Cons: I had to use one of the monitors on another PC for my kid. After trying to put the 3 monitor back on, only one of them would be recognized by the driver. I switched the cable to the other monitors and each monitor worked on its own, updated the software and drivers–no help. I switched cables and it would only recognize 1 of the monitors!!!! The monitors work on another PC and by them selves, so its not the monitors or the cables!!
Overall Review: Like I said the Quadro worked with with 3 monitors, now it doesn’t.
Use you money elsewhere!!!
You have been warned.
Pros: The card functions with generic drivers
Cons: I bought this card because it said it had widows server 2008 drivers. However There are no 2008 drivers anywhere for this card and I can not get the full power from this card without them.
Overall Review: I would not recommend this card. The only way this rating changes is if they support their product. They say right on the box and their website this card had 2008 server drivers, either stop the false advertising or provide the support.

Pros: Nice small form factor. Fits inside SFF Dells and the fan doesn’t obstruct things too badly. Easy plug and play install. I installed Nvidia drivers easily and we were up and running!
Cons: Price to performance ratio is lacking. If I wasn’t buying this for the company, I could’ve hopped on the used market and saved a bit. Oh well, it does what it is supposed to!
Overall Review: It’s also nice that it came w mini DP to DP adapters. That was very useful!
