Pros: This card is blisteringly fast, but quiet. It installed with very little room to spare in a Corsiar D4000 Airflow case. Had to place the AIO on the front of the computer and there is about 1/2cm between the card and AIO fans. Card runs cool.
I’m not a big fan of RGB, but this card has understated lighting, so it looks great in the case.
Cons: The card is huge and heavy, but to be expected. No issues with a GPU support. Very solid mounting. The only issue is not related the card itself, but about registering the product at Gigabyte. It took forever as we had to enter the model number many, many ways to get it to finally accept it. Again, nothing to do with the card, but rather Gigabyte registration process.
Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this card. Unfortunately had to pay well over retail, but not badly priced given the current climate.
Pros: – As advertised, this card provides a premium gaming experience we’ve come to expect from these cards
– thermals are fine (same cooler as the Gaming OC 3090)
– noise level is absolutely reasonable
– good looking aesthetic and tasteful RGB implementation
– build quality is great overall, feels heavy duty and solid in hand, absolute unit of a card
– easy install (worked perfectly right out of the box)
– love the Nvidia drivers (GeForce Experience)
Cons: – thermal pads could be better
Overall Review: An absolute powerhouse of a GPU. For me, this vendor was really fast (two business days), ’cause the card was actually shipped by Newegg directly, and I’m located in the US. However, it appears that my card was one of the last ones to be shipped by Newegg directly – new shipments will be from Hong Kong (unless it says ‘shipped by Newegg’ in the future). Card was received in perfect condition. Beautiful card. I didn’t initially love how it looked, but since receiving it, my feelings have changed. It looks sleek and futuristic. It has a solid and weighty build as one would expect from this quality of device. The RGB implementation is really tasteful and lowkey. My only complaint regarding RGB is that the color transitions aren’t at a smooth refresh rate (maybe ~15hz).
Gaming performance is just phenomenal, which – let’s face it – is likely the reason you’re buying this card. GeForce Experience drivers work really well, and optimize game settings on your behalf. With this card in particular, this optimization feature basically just maxes out every setting, which is convenient and effective. Stock thermals are fine – at full load, I haven’t seen the card go higher than 65C. For better thermals, if you’re willing to void the warrantee, you can find guides for replacing and adding thermal pads to increase performance, as this is a criticism that reviewers have for this device.
The cooler on this card is quite nice, identical to that found on the even beefier Gigabyte Gaming OC RTX 3090. This means you’re getting an extremely capable cooler on this card. The noise levels on this card are completely reasonable. Reports of the dreaded ‘coil whine’ have been greatly overstated. The fans stay at a reasonably quiet volume under load, and I have no complaints. Long story short, I would recommend this card to others. The price-to-performance ratio is ideal, offering a premium gaming experience for a reasonable cost. All around, I’m a huge fan of this card.
Pros: Its a 3080,plays all the newest titles great!
Cons: Needs really good case ventilation otherwise it will cook itself.
Overall Review: Since the card came from China, had to be sure it got to Canada before 30 days so could register for warranty. Took a week to get shipped out then another 2 weeks until delivery, lots of time left over. It runs hot and loud. Although it only registers 60C, the back of the card is pretty hot. You really need good case ventilation. With the odd exception, for me its a 144hz ultra settings 1440P card with low RTX ON. Kind of expensive, but all considering it was around what a 2080ti was back in the day, just have to suck it up.
Pros: Works great on everything I do in my streaming on Twitch
Cons: None
Overall Review: Highly Recommend would buy again!
Pros: Its nivida card works great.
Cons: Thermal pads gigabyte give you are total garbage. Mem temps while gaming where hitting 90-100c range on a new card… Imagine when it gets older. Had order new thermal pads for brand new product and replace them. Findin thicnesses where a pain since Gigabyte support didnt want tell me them…. Luckily others have done replacement so it was easy.
Overall Review: Only lost two eggs due to cheap thermal pads that provide improper thermal transfer for memory. If you do not plan to replace them steer clear from this card once you do replace them you gain lost performanced on the table that is left behind by the gigabyte company for being cheap to spend few bucks for better pads.
Pros: it is a 3080
Cons: the thermals are bad
sometimes it crashes without any reason
Overall Review: my old GPU did not crash at all despite being 4+ years old(EVGA gtx 1070)

Pros: Extremely Low Temperatures. 64C at max load which is tested with furmark for 20~30min
Undervolting brings the card even cooler to 59C which is crazy.
Cons: Graphics card doesn’t seem stable, and mine died after about a week of use. Apparently, a lot of users have experienced this.
Average performance compared to other 3080 cards.
Overall Review: This is a great card if it’s sustainable. Unfortunately, I’ve got a defective one, so I ended up returning the product.

Pros: Look great , runs super cool , crushes 1440p high refresh rate gaming ! 4 year warranty
Cons: Price.
Overall Review: I was skeptical about buying this gpu due to other reviews saying it runs super hot and black screened etc …. I have great airflow in my case and at ultra 1440p settings This thing hasent went above 63c . Gpu install was super easy with zero issues . R
I’m really satisfied with this purchase I can’t recommend it enough!!
