Pros: I have to say this is a good laptop, well builted, nice look and clear view. SSD NVMe is performing well and the keyboard is relatively good.
Cons: This is defenitively NOT a gaming laptop. Well, as soon as you work hard, the CPU is overheating at 95 degrees celcius. Do NOT think you will be gaming for long hours with this laptop or I would predict you will burn it dead. The Intel SpeedStep technologies automaticaly boost the CPU clock to the top and, by the same way provoking overheat. Same result if you pretend to work on video conversion or video rendering. If you want to stop overheating for good, you will have to go on setup BIOS and disable Intel SpeedStep Technologies. That’s it, no more heat, but less performance, down for a 25%. Take note also that the battery life is very limited and if you are smooth on the work, you will maybe reach two hours.
Overall Review: You can use this laptop on an everyday browsing, teaming or wording. That’s it. Please, remember to install temperature monitoring software. If you are looking for a day long working tool on battery, look elsewere. Take it for what it is : a good business laptop. If you want to have full control on CPU clock speed (and on heat), you must choose Intel Core with a K at the end of the code like 11800K.
