Quad-Channel DDR3 2133The G.SKILL RipjawsZ Series F3-17000CL9Q-16GBZH DDR3 memory kit is rated at 2133MHz to deliver up to 17GBps bandwidth per channel to meet the evolving needs of today’s operating systems and applications. CAS 8 timing makes your system responsive without lags.
Outstanding Cooling DesignHeat management is always an important issue for any PC building enthusiast. In order to address this problem, the RipjawsZ Series are especially designed with a stylish teeth-like heat spreader fin design. It provides optimal heat dissipation by exposing a greater surface area to cool air, without sacrificing any “swag” in your system.
Support for Intel XMPIntel Extreme Memory Profiles (XMP) technology provides a robust, profile-based overclocking solution for novice and experienced overclockers. Easily overclock your platform by selecting the predefined profile in the BIOS, or manually adjust the frequency and timings to extract the maximum performance from your system.| Brand | G.SKILL |

Pros: Works even tighter than specs on asus R IV E. I have run these sticks at 2400+
Cons: Cons? none
Overall Review: XMP only worked at 1866 on Evga X79 for the win board, had to put ALL timings in manually to run at 2133 real pita on that board.
Pros: Ram lives up to expectations. So far I’m very impressed. G.SKILL stays true to their word and this ram does reliably run @ 2133 MHz as long as you have correctly configured your bios! (See other thoughts) Not to mention, it’s super fast.
Cons: Not really a con since this is the case with all DDR 2133 RAM, but you must enable XMP or manually set timing, voltage, RAM speed.
Overall Review: I purchased this RAM for use in my new ASUS Rampage IV Extreme. Not having overclocked in years, it took some time to figure out how to get this RAM to run reliably without Prime95 choking. As stated in other reviews, to reach full speed while keeping the memory reliable, you gotta use XMP! Major problem for me, however, is I can’t seem to use XMP when overclocking my 3930K – it would revert all my changes. To keep the RAM reliable when doing this, I had to manually set both DRAM Voltages to 1.65, manually set the timings to 9-11-10-28, and manually set the MHz to (in my case) 2000MHz. (Couldn’t select 2133 @ my current OC). After running P95 for 6 hour it hasn’t choked, so I’m happy!
Pros: FAST, FAST, FAST
Cons: See other thoughts
Overall Review: I got the set of four, and I didn’t even open it for about a month. When I finished the build, I found that one of the 4 sticks was DOA. Because it had been over 30 days since I bought it, newegg would not rma it. I contacted GSkill, and they gave me a brand new set of four, NO QUESTIONS ASKED!!! GSkill has made themselves another lifelong customer! This 16 gig set ROCKS my setup!
Pros: Works as advertised in the Asus Rampage Extreme IV. Fit under the Noctua NH-D14 without any issues.
Cons: None that I can think of, runs excellent at advertised speeds and settings. No hassle.
Pros: Standard clock is 1800 (900mhz) Overclocked through bios very easily to 2133 and runs cool. I overclocked a little bit further to 2266. No voltage overclock.
Installed very easily.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Working with Asus Crosshair V motherboard and AMD FX 8120 CPU. I had doubts after I pulled the trigger on buying, but overall very satisfied.
Pros: Runs at 2133 perfectly on my Sabertooth x79/3930k
Gives a 7.9 WEI score
Didn’t require any overvoltage to reach advertised speeds and timings.
Good price/performance
Cons: The XMP profile did not yield stability, it was trying to OC my CPU without the proper adjustments to voltages and offsets and such. I manually configured everything and got it 24/7 stable with lower temps….
Overall Review: I dropped these babies in my X79 sabertooth with a 3930k and everything works so amazingly well.
Runs at 2133mhz, 9 cl on my 3930 @~4.6Ghz… prime 95 24/7 stable never passing 62c.
Pros: Purchased this memory back in 2012 and I couldn’t be happier with it to this very day. Runs fast, overclocks quite well and really rounds out the X79 experience by running quad channel.
Cons: Memory prices have increased over time, and this set is no exception. I paid far less than what the price point is set at now over a year ago, when the technology was newer. I should note this is an industry-wide increase in pricing and not specific to newegg.
Overall Review: Overall, this is memory for the dabbling enthusiast…not the hardcore enthusiast, but it is enthusiast grade memory none the less. You won’t regret your purchase.

Pros: Works perfectly at DDR2133 speed with an ASUS Sabertooth 990FX and a FX-8120 at 4.6ghz
Cons: None
Overall Review: Been using these since December 2011. Originally installed on a Gigabyte 890FX but could only reach about DDR1750 speed with that board. Excellent with the Sabertooth. These are definately worth the price.
