Pros: windows 7
Cons: turns off constantly without warning, came with no wireless card, won’t align to my display, auto-adjusts on reboot for up to five minutes at a time
Overall Review: I bought this to replace my older computer because I was still running XP. I guess it came with a bad power supply or something because it always turns off while I’m right in the middle of someth
Pros: It is so much better than something you would purchase at another box chain store. I have had many cheap computers at these locations over the years and none of them have had the speed this one does. I do not do a ton of downloads or run large amounts of bandwidth but, it does it’s job with basic browsing, minor gaming and running multiple web screens at a time without being slowed down.
Cons: It is not going to be a pro computer. This is a great option for someone who doesn’t need high tech and just wants something for browsing, minor gaming, and multiple computer programs open at once.
Pros: Optiplex build quality of course. Very quiet. Easy to service. Ordered several of these for clients over the past 18 months, Including 7 I installed at the local Sheriff’s Office. No issues at all. All were from Joy Systems.
Cons: None as of yet. Only had one give the memory error beeps out of the box. It was as simple as re-seating the RAM cards. A common problem with computers, especially one that has bounced through shipping.
Pros: Easy to set up, has ample disk space, and is speedy compared to my prior computer. Primary advantage over a brand new computer is that it was clean of preloaded programs and advertising. I manually loaded all my old software programs and they are working fine. Also, the OptiPlex is a higher end computer with a few more extras than the average home computer. Quiet running is a plus.
Cons: No negatives to date.
Pros: I have dozens approaching hundreds of Dell refurbs floating around Northeast Ohio. I would take this machine over any brand new machine from a big box store all day long. I can’t even believe the garbage I see ship on new OEM machines…it is criminal! And no one is watching or seems to care. Buy refurbed Dell Win 7 machines!! Dell disks are very abundant should you ever need one unlike the criminals at HP, ASUS, and most all others! For the love of all that is sacred please do not buy anything new….especially from HP, Toshitba, Asus…..they are all bloated to death and have horrible support and no recovery disks. Only recovery partitions with no CD keys!!
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: MS has promised support on Win 7 until at least 2020.

Pros: None for the refurbished computer I purchased but they ship the giant paperweight quickly as paid for.
Cons: Other than it has been a colossal waste of time and effort; I can’t specifiy exactly what other cons this unit has. I purchased it because I work with this exact model at work and am very familiar with it. Unfortunately, just because it says it is refurbished does not mean they actually fixed anything. Right out of the box and set up it would only power up and make a series of loud beeping signs from within the unit then it would die. Confirmed working monitor/speakers would not register any type of signal. Listed as having 1 year warranty but refurbisher did not answer thier support contact number. I now have to go through RMA procedure so now I am waiting…and waiting… to see if the unit that is being returned will even work whenever I get it back in 1 to 2 weeks.
Overall Review: This is the 2nd item (purchased through newegg) listed as refurbished from an authorized manufacturer that has not been as advertised. Newegg should really pay attention to the Quality of the refurbished items they sell on thier website even if it is through a vendor. All anyone remembers is that they got it on Newegg not that it came from some unkown repair shop.
