Pros: Works
Cons: We bought 3 of these units. The side panels have been spray painted. You can still smell the paint. The black plastic front and top parts have paint overspray that had to be compounded out. These were C grade units dressed up to look like B or A. What a disappointment.
Overall Review: One of the units had a bad onboard Ethernet port. Not worth the price paid. Newegg needs to dump this supplier. The only good thing is that with a lot of work we were able to resell these units.
Pros: A lot of bang for the buck for most users. Clean unit.
Cons: A missing video card driver (Microsoft installed one of course but I didn’t catch it) cost me a trip back to the customers house. I had to take 2 stars off for this…sorry. You can not ship a machine out with a microsoft graphics driver IMO. I would never do it.
Overall Review: A little slop inside the box on packaging. I would not have let it go across the country like this.
Pros: Great value for the price
I run a lot of these in my business and they are a solid performer
Refurbished computers save us a lot of money
Cons: None
Overall Review: Highly recommend, warranty issues are always handled in a professional manner.
Pros: These computers are well worth your money if you are looking to get a reliable computer and not have to put a new mortgage on your house to get it. I am the IT Admin of a Church, and my goal was to get these computers upgraded from this hodgepodge of Win 98 & XP computers to something from this decade.
Right off the bat, you should notice that you are getting a computer with windows 7 Pro for the price of a hot dog. This is well worth taking advantage of, because why would you want to limit yourself?
Computer performance has been very reliable, and I have not had any issues with the existing hardware. As of this writing, all the computers have been upgraded to windows 10, and they are working great minus the flaws with the OS itself. These are up to the task of Window 10, so don’t think they are not.
Another nice feature is this series of Towers allows for Door Locking, intended to prevent unauthorized access to internal components.
I would classify these as a high end workstation, a mid level multimedia system (the performance is OK), and a low-mid gaming system (Its an Optiplex…). Daily task use for these computers is office work (Office, accounting, etc…) and PowerPoint presentations. Some photo editing and artwork creation takes places, as well as some website editing. I purchased some low end Nvidia cards to enable multi-monitor support, and they work well. I had to upgrade, because windows 10 did not support the older video cards. Nonetheless, these computers have showed they are up to the task of being staying current without complaint.
My best advice is if you are tight on money (like our Church), this series has been a godsend (Pun Intended 😛 )
Cons: WYSIWYG. Box contained the Tower, a Keyboard, a Mouse, and a Windows 7 Disc. For those who are interested, these USB ports were only up to 2.0 spec instead of 3.0 spec. the MB also has 1 PCIe X2 & X16 port. The MB Supports IDE Cables (I was adding a 2nd CD-RW), however the included Power Supply does not offer 4-pin power, only SATA power.
Your actual computer may vary, but none of mine came with the HDMI Ports shown in the picture.
Only other Issue I have personally is the lack of availability for Wake-on LAN option in the MB. These computers are not near each other, and It would’ve been nice to remotely access this equipment. Alas, I guess the exercise will do me good 🙂
Overall Review: I reviewed this back in February. I now own a total of 3 off these, and they have all worked splendidly. Well Worth the purchase over buying something new!
Features:
1 – DVD-R/CD-RW
1 – CD/DVD Expansion Slot
2 – Front USB 2.0 Ports
2 – Front Audio Ports (One Out, One In)
6 – Rear USB 2.0 Ports
1 – VGA Video Port
2 – Rear Audio Port (One out, One In)
1 – legacy Parallel Port
1 – legacy Serial Port
450W Power Supply Unit with SATA extensions ONLY.
Pros: great price
tons of drive space
Cons: none
Overall Review: This was a great bargain for 250 bucks. Works fine. It was bare bones, I added CD DVD burner (was read only, enough to get up and running) and graphics card.
Upgraded it a year later with 250GB SSD and GTX 750Ti graphics card, bigger (600 watt) PSU, and maxed out the RAM (8 gigs). No pro or gamers rig but a good home system that’s taken tons of constant all around use with no problems.
I left the old hard drive in for added storage, use the SSD as primary drive. Then swapped the old HDD for an 80 gig Western Digital 10k RPM Velociraptor HDD that was lying around. Not a hot rig but it “gets me around town”, good enough for a bits and pieces home machine.
The upgrades were more to lighten the load, “chug through most stuff” rather than expecting it to fly like a hot rig. If approached, used as what it is, it’s a great home use bargain PC.
Very happy with purchase, have gotten tons of use out of it already.
Pros: Specs are perfect for our application (Aloha Point of Sale)
Cons: None
Overall Review: I’ve bought about 10 of these to use as servers for Aloha and every one of them has come to me in great condition with just minor cosmetic damage that you would expect in a refurbished PC. All have come very well packed as to not incur damage in shipping.
Pros: Great price. I got this machine as a replacement for my grandpas old compaq. It is exactly as advertised. Biggest pro is that it comes with a clean OS install, no bloat wear, no need to reformat.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: It comes with a keyboard and mouse

Pros: Cost effective. A big positive step from XP (yes we were dragging our feet on these 2 units – took momentary physical failures & true end of XP to get us to buy new CPUs…if it ain’t broke). No fuss, nice to have a really clean machine
Cons: You will likely want to update the video card driver (until you do you’ll get intermittent and momentary black screens while surfing the net). Yes the included keyboard and mouse are basic, but they are new. The power cord seats okay but not super-firm/secure at the CPU. Came loaded with IE8 (slightly outdated)
Overall Review: Arrived quickly and well-packed. “Before you Begin” sheet suggests there are additional detailed instructions – there aren’t, but seriously just plug the thing in and go (after carefully transcribing the Win7 product key), and you’ll be fine.
Pros: Works
