Pros: I can think of no positive aspect of my experience with this product.
Cons: Failed after 3 days.
Pros: Lowest power dynamic of current drives: look at power usage of all drive states. Fast enough for general use. Solid technology that you can count on – all my customers get this drive series.
Cons: none
Overall Review: Newegg comes through with low(-est) price and fast time to delivery!
Pros: Works fine for my HP dv8000 as the second hard drive.
Cons: The master/slave jumper is really small.

Pros: Had no chance to get any. Five stars go to NewEgg. Got RMA without problem and restocking fee.
Cons: Compaq/HP and it’s techs.
Overall Review: Not compatible with Compaq Presario 2100.
I was told by Compaq tech that compatibility issue is due to HDD’s 5400 RPM instead of 4200RPM. Also was told that Compaq/HP tested Presario 2100 up to 60Gb at 4200 RPM.
BIOS recognized full HDD capacity but showed wrong HDD model number and name (sometnihg like “Iitachi” instead of Hitachi). I wonder how RPM can influence anything except speed …
