Glad to hear the memory was working well in your machine. It is definitely worthwhile to RMA, the G.Skill RMA process is quick and hassle free so your computer will be back up to 8GB in no time. The only cost involved is for shipping, if you send it USPS First Class with tracking, it should be less than $5, so it is definitely worth it considering how much a 4GB module is these days. Visit the G.Skill website for complete RMA procedure. For any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us directly.

Pros: DDR3 RAM at a good price.
It works!
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Put this RAM into an inexpensive build for a friend, and it’s doing just what RAM is supposed to do. Good stuff.
Pros: Working great with:
ECS A880GM-M7 (V2.0) AM3 AMD 880G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
AMD Phenom II X4 830 Deneb 2.8GHz Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor HDX830WFK4DGM – OEM
Windows Experence:
Processor AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 830 Processor: 7.2
Memory (RAM) 8.00 GB: 7.5 <–<<
Cons: none yet.
Overall Review: I cheap-ed out on my Motherboard (it was on sale).
Pros: Great price. Great brand. Immediately recognized by my 880G mobo (both times).
Cons: Had to RMA the first pair of these I got. Ran a burn-in test on it and got numerous critical failures. Was running ok, but I won’t take chances on a build I am doing for someone else. -1 egg for the cost of the RMA.
Barely cheaper than a little better version of G.Skill.
Overall Review: Newegg’s RMA process is pretty good, but it was a bit long to get my new set. Had I been in a crunch, it would not have been fast enough plus for $10, I should get memory to my door fast. I got it faster the first time when I had free shipping.
Thank you for your G.Skill purchase and review. We apologize for the bad pair, that should not happen again. G.Skill memory packages are backed by a lifetime guarantee for those types of situations. For whatever reason your memory is dead on arrival or becomes defective after a couple days, weeks, or years of use, we will exchange it with a new replacement without question. If you have any further questions or issues, please feel free to contact us directly and we will be glad to assist you.

Pros: Bought this to update a 2011 Sandy Bridge Dell that still had a decent processor but was starting to show its age. I am so glad I did. The mobo had 2x4gig sticks in already and I added these two to the other slots and booted up. 16gigs of RAM immediately detected by Windows. No problem, super fast install. This plus an SSD makes this 6 year old computer fast as hell!
Cons: No free bacon?
Pros: – Work like a charm.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Bought these for my ASRock G41C-GS R2.0 LGA 775 Intel G41 + ICH7 Intel Motherboard and the computer came to life on the first power up. Been happy with them since then.
Pros: Well constructed.
Dual-channel.
Easy to identify.
Attractively priced.
Works perfectly with the same model I had in machine (I’m now at 16gb – 4x4gb).
Cons: None so far (two weeks in).
Overall Review: Make sure that you buy the same model number of the RAM you wish to put in the machine, whether buying all-new or adding memory sticks. I bought from two different vendors, but the same model number. Subtleties can make all the difference in functionality.
Pros: Good RAM, does its job, no worries
Cons: 1 of 2 ordered sticks failed. G-Skill did fantastic job getting replacement RAM to me ASAP. Been a newegg customer for years, this is the first DOA part ever received.
Overall Review: G-Skill seems to be a great company to work with!
Thank you for your G.Skill purchase and review. Glad to hear the memory is doing it’s job without a problem. It is strange a module was defective, but as you know we fully stand behind our products so any issues can be resolved right away. Random defects can happen, but they are very rare which is why we are comfortable in offering a manufacturer lifetime warranty. Most G.Skill memory products should last forever. With 8GB installed in your system, the operating system can remain nice and smooth under any circumstance. So whether you are gaming, multi-tasking, or editing photos, you will not experience any lag or delays due to RAM. For any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us directly.

Pros: Worked well initially.
Cons: Worked for 18 months, on an extremely low usage machine. Disappointed to say the least, I have other machines with G-Skill memory that have been running 24/7 for 5 or 6 years without a hiccup. This machine gets used about 2 or 3 times a week at the most for an hour. I would estimate that although this module is 18 months old it has probably only had about 2 months of use in that period, and that’s probably an over estimate.
Overall Review: Not worthwhile RMAing it, the machine didn’t really need 8GB in the first place, and I can do without the hassle and cost of an RMA procedure. Just a bit miffed at a failing memory module. Bonus is that initially I thought it was the motherboard giving up the ghost and I was about to order a new one when I thought about switching the modules out. Bingo, using the same single stick in either slot produced the boot failure, halting at the BIOS boot screen, using the other stick in either slot allowed a normal boot up.
