The motherboards you mentioned are fully certified for use with this memory kit, so it is odd you are having problems. Check to see if you have the latest BIOS, an update can significantly improve compatibility. For G.Skill QVL certified memory kits, XMP should work flawlessly. Pros: Worked ok at first in my heavily-cooled, non-overclocked AM4 build
Cons: Didn’t last very long even under these ideal conditions
Overall Review: After about 6 months, noticed a decrease in system response and erratic behavior on boot-up. Further investigation showed that one of the DIMMs was no longer being recognized. Tried DIMMs one at a time to successfully isolate the bad one.

Good to hear the memory was working well in your AMD AM4 build. This RAM is not officially designed for AMD CPUs, but good to hear it was working properly. RAM failure can happen very randomly, so even under ideal conditions it is very possible for RAM to error and become defective. To protect all G.Skill users fro such mishap, all G.Skill memory kits are backed by a manufacturer lifeitme warranty. Pros: -Got these to match with 2 others I got and they work great for OC or stock speeds
-I have a huge CPU cooler and these fit underneath the cooler which most ram sticks do not
-Stable

Pros: Pretty heat spreader! Nice stock speeds. Packaged well and easy to open. At the time of purchase, was cheaper to buy two of these vs. a quad kit.
Cons: Wasn’t free.
Overall Review: Another great set of memory to use is a stock X99 setup. Dropped two sets in a new Gigabyte GA-X99-UD3P board with 5820K and off we go running happily with zero problems! 2133MHz plenty fast for the use intended (not gaming).
Pros: Works great with overclocked i5-6600k to 4.5GHz. Running on stock specs.
Cons: None as of yet, working great after 4 months of service.
Pros: Plugged right into my Asrock Z170 Pro4 motherboard selected XMP profile and it ran like a champ. No issues at all.
Cons: None
Overall Review: If you are looking for good DDR4 ram at a reasonable price, this is it.
Pros: It worked out of the box with XMP profile.
Good price.
Made sure it was compatible with my board prior to purchase, so no problems.
Cons: I dunno, haven’t tried overclocking the memory further it’s fast enough.

Cons: XMP didn’t work on two of my motherboards (GIGABYTE Z170 HD3 & ASUS TUF Z270 MARK 1) but able to overclock manually.
Overall Review: Recommend these if you are on a budget.
