Overall Review: This is a very expensive ram and for something very expensive, you expect it to work flawlessly. That isn’t the case. This ram has been causing so many problems with my computer it’s outrageous. I’ve been itching to get rid of this ram immediately. I really wish I can return this ram. My first purchase from G.Skill and most likely my last. Can’t believe for something this pricey, it’s highly unstable. Extremely disappointed.

However, when you purchase a high specification, not all motherboards and CPUs may support it. First, check to see if you have a validated combination (link below). If not, the rated specifications can not be expected to work flawlessly. Check to see if you have the latest BIOS for the motherboard. For two modules in a four slot motherboard, slots two and four away from the CPU should be populated. To determine whether it may be a memory problem, you can test one module at a time to see if one performs differently. If one does, send them in for RMA exchange. Pros: Looks great!
Cons: This memory has a tendency to corrupt files and has stability issues. My system is not overclocked and had issues with certain games just randomly crashing or freezing when running this ram at it’s default and specified speeds.
Overall Review: For the money I would not recommend this product.
We can surely help with this issue. Not all CPUs and motherboards are natively capable of this memory kit so there are many potential factors that may cause instability. The G.Skill QVL and RAM Configurator can be used to see which combinations have been validated (link below).
To isolate the memory, test each module individually to see if all have the same maximum results. If one module performs differently, please send them in for RMA and a replacement kit should work much better.
If all modules have the same exact results during individual testing, check to see if you have the latest BIOS for the motherboard. – CL14 3600mhz is giving me about a 10% boost on my Ryzen 5800x over the CL16 3200mhz RAM I was using
Overall Review: Recently built a Ryzen 5800x build and was initially using some standard CL16 RAM. Was impressed with the score out of the box but had heard that RAM timings and speed make alot more difference on AMD than Intel, so I decided to splurge and get a better RAM kit. Glad I did. These RAM sticks not only look fantastic they perform very well too. Seeing about 7 to 10% higher scores in CPU based benchmarks.
